Padfone 2 - repair, and none exsisting service :(
Dear Asus
When I in December 2012 decided that i wanted a new mobile phone, I spend a lot
of time searching the market, to find the best phone currently available. In the
beginning of January my choice was ASUS, as I know them as a manufactory which
produce items of high quality. My previous phones have primarily been HTC phones,
but this time I wanted a High end phone, and choose ASUS.
The Padfone 2, seems like a good choice, and quality phone, price in Denmark is
DKK 6.000 , so not a cheap mobile phone.
Until the phone broke down, I was very satisfied with phone. But March 11, the phone
stopped having any contact to the Padfone station. I called ASUS support and
received a RMA number, all this was very smooth, 1-2 days later I received a RMA
number, printed out the label and contacted UPS. All this was very smooth.
After two week’s I called the Service center, regarding status of my device. The guy
there named Max told me that some parts was missing, and that I should call in two
day later. I called in two days later, now I talked to another person there, who told me,
that unit could not be repaired, and was send to Level 2.
During the more than 4 weeks repair, I have constantly received different
information’s from you support team. When I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told,
that this is not possible. When I called in on Wednesday, I was told something
different, then if I called in on Friday. Looks like the support team do not have the
same information’s. As a client this is very frustrated.
1.) That you do not receive the same informations,
2.) That you can not talk to a supervisor,
3.) That you expensive High quality phone, takes more that 4 weeks to repair.
At present time, I do still not have received any finally decision in what will happen to
my Padfone 2. When will the case finally close !!!!
Please give me just one good reason, you choose ASUS as my next phone vendor.
The lack of service, is on the level you would expect from a one man company stated
in east europe. Its simply not good enough.
I would be happy to receive a phone call from one of your supervisors, so we in detail
can discuss, who you trade your clients.
I can only rank this service, as low or even not existing. A mobile phone worth DKK
6.000,- which break’s down within the first 3 months should simply have been
exchange with another new unit ASAP.
