Men have been sent to the moon

Men have been sent to the moon, hearts and other organs have been transplanted, the sound barrier has been broken, but the BBCiplayer cannot get the subtitles to synchronize on catch-up programmes. ITV and Channel 4 does not seem to have this problem.

I'm in my seventies and hard-of-hearing and I feel that the BBC does not give a toss about people with this disability. It is discrimination, pure and simple, against age and disability.

Bad subtitles

Not deaf aware!
Subtitles have become totally unacceptable ...
Not many program's are subtitled and the ones that are subtitled are usually badly out of sync.
