This could have easily been a much lower star review. When I opened the box I noticed the saddle was damaged. The packaging had come off and it had rubbed against the tire during transit. I had ordered a spare inner tube, which wasn't included in my delivery. When I pumped up the tires ready for my first ride you could hear air coming out of the front tire and 20 mins later the back tire was also flat with a slower puncture. I took the bike to Halfords who charged me £16 to fit 2 new inner tubes. I emailed customer care and sent a photo of the saddle and a picture of my Halfords receipt. They replied straight away, they refunded the £16 immediately, and 2 days later I received the inner tube and a new saddle which was better than the one the bike came with. The customer care service at bikes2udirect was excellent. I would recommend using this company. They are excellent value and if there is a problem they sort it out straight away. Amazing customer service.

After receiving delivery of a new bike which had used damaged parts. I contacted the customer care team immediately. However due to bank holiday weekend I was unable to get through. I left a message on their website and someone contacted me first thing on the next working day.

I explained my issue and that a used damaged pedal had been sent out with the bike. The person I spoke to was very helpful and understanding and agreed to send out replacement parts immediately.

The bike I brought has come straight from the manufacture and I have left bikes 2 u to deal direct with them.

Unhappy with the bike being sent with damaged parts but happy with how quick bikes 2 u were able to resolve the situation.

Excellent service on delivery of bike and follow up service provided by Ben in customer care, who offered clear and helpful suggestions. Thoroughly recommended.

Ridgeback traditional bike bought Monday, arrived next day well packaged and in perfect condition. Easy to re-assemble from the box and even came with a free pump. Happy customer thanks

I have never experienced the most shocking, rude, un-apologetic, personally really scary/demanding/ condescending tone of telephone voice. I warn anyone to stay away from this company. Let me fill you in with history regarding their trading. They sell bikes but at no point do they ever open the bikes they are selling. They buy the bikes from a manufacturer who in turn don't open these bikes also but buy them from a third world country. At no point do they know the standard of bikes they are selling. I have had months of terrible experience with them via email and relentless telephone calls from them, I had to block their number in the end. Thank you to Trustpilot for giving a great platform to people share their experience, great job Trustpilot . I hope bikes2udirect learn from your great customer service skills :) Still to this date (20/05/19) they keep complaining to Trust Pilot for me to adapt my review. They want to control what people say about them. Unfortunately it is the truth and it will always prevail over the way they think they can get away with treating their customers. I'm so happy that i have helped so many people with my review. I was a victim of this company and don't wish anyone to go through the same experience or god forbid worse. Which i can imagine is very possible and from reading everyone else review I can see has happened. Remember STAY AWAY.................TERRIBLE COMPANY....................... AVOID!!!!!!!

Initially disappointed that the basket was damaged, however a quick email with photo and customer services replied and dispatched replacement within 4 minutes. Received 2 days later. Very happy, bike2udirect best customer service response thank you.
Would use again and recommend.

I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing a bike which I hadn't seen but what can I say, bike and service fantastic, my basket was damaged but a replacement was received following day. Very impressed and would recommend to all.

Great price and delivery came on time - but delivery driver very rude and dismissive. Had also damaged bike by dropping it. Phoned Bikes2UDirect, couldn't have been more apologetic or helpful though it was not their fault. Courier collected damaged bike (though they could have just sent the parts) and new bike arrived in time for daughter's b'day. Thoroughly recommend them. Will buy again

Absolutely amazing company. Quality bikes and amazing customer service. Brilliant value on all bikes. They beat other companies on price easily. Use this company you won't be disappointed. Professional and friendly people I definitely recommend.

Excellent experience. You never really know how good a company is until you encounter a problem. Every aspect of our experience with this firm was great and when we encountered a small issue with one part, they sorted this extremely fast and courteously, which surprised me given what good value the bike was in the first place. Highly recommend this company.

I ordered a bike a couple of days before Christmas for my son and asked to collect. Bikes 2U were really helpful calling me straight away to help me arrange collection. When I got there they had everything ready to go and even refunded me £5 for collecting, for which I had an email confirming before I got back to my car!
Top service.

I had an issue with the bike delivered (a boy's bike delivered for Christmas), one of the pedals would not fit properly. Bikes2udirect blamed me and would not remedy the problem. An issue with distance selling that you can do nothing about a lack of customer service. Cheaper prices are not worth it if you have to take it to a local bike shop to fix defective parts, I won't buy from them again.

My autisic son's bike had bit missing from it on Christmas Eve as soon as bikes 2u direct were open I phoned and explained the situation, I got to say the customer service I received was excellent and the missing parts were delivered the next day with some added extras.I didn't get the gentleman's name but what a lovely helpful man he was nothing was too much trouble. I now have a happy son ,thanks again bike 2u direct.

I ordered a bike from here. The basket was broken and the crank arm needed replacing as it had no threads to screw the pedal into. This was something that was not seem by the company before but immediately replied to my complaint and sent replacement parts and are on their way. Tools to repair included.

I was anxious ordering from bike 2u but so glad I did ordered my girls bike for Christmas Friday came today and it’s perfect not a mark on it can’t not wait to see her face Christmas Day thank you for such a lovely bike

I bought a Raleigh Chic size 20 wheel online from Bikes2udirect on Monday morning and it arrived at 4pm today for zero delivery cost which is amazing given the size of the box! It was in perfect condition, well packaged and easy for my husband to put together (front wheel, pedals, handlebar, saddle and he set the brakes too). Great communication from customer service team and at a really good price (way cheaper than my local bike store). In summary, if you don’t mind putting in a bit of work building the bike then it’s a very cost effective and convenient way to buy a bike. We will be back when our daughter outgrows it in a few years. Many thanks 😊

Avoid this place like the plague. Bike arrived damaged - poorly packaged with pump loose in box scraping all metalwork. Order process does not make clear that you have to assemble the bike - put on pedals, handlebars, seat post - and no assembly instructions included. Very poor after-sales response from the very aggressive and patronising so-called Customer Services Manager

I bought a bike for my son last christmas, so almost a year ago, the crank bearing cage failed, i thought it would be easier to go to my local shop which never have anything in as usual, so gave bikes2udirect and spoke to ben, he helped find which size bearing it was and it was on my doorstep 20 hours later, fantastic after sales and service, couldnt be easier.

I highly recommend this company. I had a slight issue with part of the basket of a bike being damaged in transit. They sent out a replacement on next day delivery.
