Prior the service worked well. But I paid for two months and did not receive service!
I thought, surely they would get back to me, as they have in the past, and fix the issue.
But my direct emails to support went unanswered.
So I called Freshdesk to see if they could help me get in touch with support, because I was locked out of the blackvpn.freshdesk support portal.
Eventually Freshdesk, after explaining at length the problem, decided to look deeper into the matter, and let me know that there has been very little to no activity or use of the Freshdesk support portal for months now by BlackVPN!
Do not pay for services!
As of December 2020, I haven't been able to use the service!
I will have to find a new company. It's a shame, at one time, they were great, but no longer!
I have opened a dispute with Paypal.

I bought recently a One year VPN subscription package from this company. After some time I still have not received my account information. This is a scam. In retrospect, I should have read the last few reviews here and be warned. Forewarned is forearmed.

Please do not give this company any money, they will scam you and you will never hear from their support.
I did my research and they also did not extend their brand trademark on the 25th of December, which means that the company cannot use their name anymore.

I bought a one month subscription, the servers are ALL DOWN, the support is not responding, cannot get a refund. They had a very good reputation, but now they are thieves

Requested a refund within an hour of my purchase when I realised it would not work with the router I had. Lodged a ticket through their "customer service" system and never heard anything further, despite following up on my request. No other contact info is available for them, which just tells you how legit this company really is.

They claim to allow a refund within 14 days, but when I contacted them about it they never responded. I was forced to file a chargeback with my bank to get my refund. It's been over 3 months now and the support ticket remains open and unanswered.

Blackvpn appears to be blacklisted by the BBC therefore the claim to connect to 'TV-UK' is circumspect. Other than that it works well.

The service is very fast, works way better for me than other services tried..
I was able to get it steup with OpenVPN on pfSense Firewall in one go with BlackVPN's documentation. Yet even with support from NordVPN on chat, I couldn't get theirs to work with pfSense!

Keep up the good work BlackVPN!

So far BlackVPN worked pretty well for a year, but while security and privacy-wise seems to be top notch the server speeds aren't so good, even after changing multiple locations I could barely reach 40-60 mbps instead of the 200 my ISP provides me (and no, my 5GHz WiFi isn't the issue) so it's not completely suitable for torrenting and content consumption.
That being said, if your objective is mainly protecting your privacy and general browsing BlackVPN does the job.

BlackVPN has been recommended to me, and I see all of these great reviews here and elsewhere, but my experience is not so good. Firstly, the support site has no install guides for Windows; indeed, the only guide I have found is on Youtube. Secondly, I opened a ticket (id 20419) on 01-Sep-2018 and still haven't heard back. The only response has been thru the chat line and that took over an hour.

I've opened a second ticket because OpenVPN doesn't connect. Let's hope for a better response.

Very Good VPN for this Price!

For this low Price you get a good and baasic VPN. The only feature i miss is the Kill switch.
BlackVPN have their own Client, which works very good and you can also use it with OpenVPN.

I would recommend BlackVPN for everyone who search for a cheap and good VPN.

No connection problem, I am getting 20 MBps/s at the moment (Netherlands).

Lots of locations. Fast. Works well on my Linux and Windows machines.
Would definitely recommend BlackVPN.

Le seul reproche que je peux faire est qu'il ne possède pas Kill Switch. Néanmoins, durant ce mois d'utilisation, je n'ai JAMAIS eu de déconnexion, donc bon...
Toujours de bons débits quelque soit le serveur choisi.
J'enlève 1 étoile pour le KIll Switch mais je ne suis pas sur que ça soit justifié... 4.5 ?

The only reproach that I can make is that it does not have Kill Switch. Nevertheless, during this month of use, I NEVER had logout, therefore good…
Always of good flows some is the selected server.
I remove 1 star for the Kill Switch but I am not on that is justified… 4.5 ?
Very easy to use !

Great VPN at low price's
Works great on the desktop software and mobile
Slow speeds of 5mb/s using the openvpn setup on a asus router
No 12 month contracts and easy to pay

Nice interface with MacOSX but insufficient setup guides (though install one for IPSec/L2TP VPN is ok). Unstable connections, leading to app not responding, needs kill it too much times. I used it 15 days then stopped.

Really easy to use and high quality service! Plan to renew in the future.

The reason I chose BlackVPN because they dont share your information with anyone.

I have been using it for one month. The service is overall great. The only two points that require more attention:

-Some servers are really slow.
-There is no application for Iphones.
