Worst Booking Experience of My Life
We booked with Bravofly for our 2 week holiday to Oman this summer because they had the cheapest prices including carry-on - turns out that that was the biggest mistake of the entire holiday!
It started a couple of months before we even flew, when I checked the airline website (SalamAir) to reserve our seats and realised that Bravofly did not communicate to the airline that we had booked carry-on suitcases. I contacted customer service, they fixed it, and I didn't think about it again. You know, mistakes can happen.
Then, fast forward a couple of months to the morning of our flight from Muscat to Salalah, when I go to check in on the airline website and what a surprise, once again, Bravofly did not register our paid bags. I contacted customer service and they said it was going to take 2 days to fix it, which isn't really helpful for a flight in 6 hours. After multiple attempts at telling them that this was a truly urgent issue (the flight was in literally a few hours!) there was still no success. We had to buy a larger suitcase and leave the carry-ons behind at the airport because adding one 20kg luggage was cheaper than two small ones. Now, I understand that something like this may happen once, but twice for the same holiday is outrageous. Why book with Bravofly in the first place if I have to pay extra because of their mistakes anyway?
Unfortunately, that was not the end of our issues with Bravofly. When finally flying home from Salalah, we obviously wanted to add the newly purchased large suitcase to our booking and tried so repeatedly via their website. This was denied. Again and again. With nothing to go off except an automated response email, I contacted their customer service team to figure out what the issue is and add our luggage. It took 4 hours, in the queue and talking to people that had no clue what was going on, to finally reach someone. For a company that claims to facilitate travel by making the process simpler, I think that is very ironic. Finally, I reached someone that knew what was going on! Turns out that because of 'airline regulations' they couldn't add our luggage anymore and we had to do so through the airline website. Now, had I known that when I first tried to add the suitcase instead of wasting the day waiting on customer service, I might have booked the suitcase on the airline website sooner and avoided paying 250€. Oh well, could've been, should've been - that's certainly Bravofly's attitude towards helping customer.
So, after a lot of waffle, I just want to say that you should please save your money and NOT book with Bravofly (or any of their sister companies like lastminute.com). You're better off booking with the airline directly, or really any other online travel agent.
You'll save money, lots of stress, and unnecessary hours spent waiting on a useless customer service agent. Good luck!
Extremely disappointing experience and one of the worst booking services I have dealt with.
Paid €178 for “Flexibility” but cannot change the booking!
I paid €178 extra specifically for the “Flexible” option for a booking for three passengers. On top of that, I was charged another €133.26 for “Agenturleistungen und Gebühren”, which in my experience only became apparent at the final checkout stage when we were about to complete the payment.
After paying all these additional charges, I expected at the very least to be able to manage and change my booking easily.
Instead, when I go to Manage Trip → Change Flight, the option is disabled and I receive the message:
“Changes are not possible because this booking includes a return flight. Please contact us via chat.”
So what exactly did I pay €178 for flexibility for?
And the chat experience made it even worse. I contacted support as instructed, and it took around 10 minutes just for the agent/chat system to tell me the details of my own trip — information I already knew — only to then ask me again: “How can I help you?”
This is incredibly frustrating. I had already contacted the chat specifically because your website told me I could not change the flight online.
The base flight price was €619.37, but after baggage, seats, flexibility and agency fees, the total became €1,224.99. After paying that amount, customers should not have to waste their time in a slow chat just to access a service they already paid extra for.
If a “Flexible” booking cannot actually be changed directly online and requires lengthy contact with customer service, this should be clearly disclosed before the customer pays €178 for the option.
The combination of high additional fees, lack of transparency, disabled online changes and extremely inefficient customer support makes the entire experience unacceptable.
I would strongly advise other customers to carefully check what “Flexible” actually means and review every additional fee before completing a booking.

Overcharged at the time of payment
They overcharge the price of the flight by adding random extras that i had not selected and the price increases at the moment you click accept on the credit card payment. These are untolerable practices

Charged R 5000.00 more than detailed at check for payment!
The app provided a competitive rate for flights from Johannesburg to Buenos Aires. At check out the payment was R33 226.88 for two passengers.
The app detailed all fees and belive it or not a discount. I was satisfied and proceeded to payment. I included no add on services and elected non refundable tickets. Hence I would pay no more than the flight amount detaied after the discount. However upon pressing the payment button I was charged R38 665.74. This is more than R5000.00 for which i was led to belive I was processing payment for. So lets see what Ai responds in the sorry section to follow. Before I express my public dissatisfaction for being charged just over an additional R5000.00 let me provide Bravofly with an opportunity to explain to the next customer why it adds on an uncontrolled amount to the purchase. Until then be warned that what is detailed in the final calculation is not what is going to be deducted from your credit card.

I booked through Bravofly and it turned into one of the most confusing and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. I submitted multiple requests just to add one checked baggage, and every time they sent me an “offer” that led nowhere. When I accepted the offer, they said someone would call me — but the calls were literally one second long and disconnected immediately. No real communication, no real support.
After that, Bravofly told me to “contact the airline directly,” even though the airline clearly stated that the baggage must be added through Bravofly. I ended up stuck between both sides, with no solution and no one taking responsibility.
This whole process was exhausting, misleading, and honestly unacceptable.
Avoid booking through Bravofly or LastMinute — they make simple tasks impossible and leave customers completely helpless.

Completely disappointed
Completely disappointed. Do not buy tickets from this company. I bought my ticket from them on 31st August 2026 and after the payment they sent me a booking confirmation number without issuing the ticket. After, I made an enquiry, they mentioned I ha e to wait 96 hours to get the ticket. When I called them, they said, the ticket price has been changed and I have to pay more than the amount I have paid originally. I asked them to refund and they have refused to pay. Absolutely disappointed.

My friend has tried to change a name on a booking as he has split up from his girlfriend they agreed on £135 then decided to change it to £288 next day and then said the airline has to agree with it and we will let you know , they said the airline haven’t got allocated seats for them when it’s already booked weeks ago , so they probably will come back with a dearer price again , I’m the person who they are changing name to and I’ve looked on booking.com and the flight return is only £99 and the seats should already be allocated and it’s just a name change , seems like a big scam to me

These crooks have us over £3000 out of pocket and counting. We have lost two days of our trip from Edinburgh to Auckland and have now booked new flights via the airline, at huge expense. The response to our requests for a solution is AI generated, repetitive nonsense. They have not forwarded our payment to the airline so we were not permitted to travel on the day. Ref 3045659383

I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with Bravofly's handling of my case. Since it's impossible to reach out to the customercare I am writing here my second review with the hope to get a solution.
My return flight (Seoul - Geneva with transit in Shanghai) was cancelled, and I was left abroad without timely support or communication. Despite repeatedly seeking assistance, my situation was not treated as a priority, and I ultimately had to organize my own return journey at significant additional expense.
The customer service experience through Bravofly's chat function was unfortunately frustrating. Every time I contacted support, I had to explain the entire situation from the beginning, as there appeared to be no continuity between agents. This was highly inefficient, especially while stranded abroad with a cancelled return flight and no clear information on how to get home. Although my case was repeatedly described as urgent, more than 48 hours after the flight cancellation I still had not received any meaningful update or guidance, forcing me to find my own solution.
To this day, Bravofly has not provided a substantive response to my formal complaint (on the 16.08.2026 at 20:44 I send a last complaint via mail) regarding these costs and the lack of assistance.
Furthermore, I have now received a refund amount for the cancelled return flight that appears difficult to understand, with no transparent explanation of how it was calculated. The amount is way less than I expected. I should get a 100% refund but when I look at the amount it seems like it's not the full refund of the return flight ticket.
Customers deserve clear communication, fair treatment, and timely support during a travel disruption. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Simple & Easy
Booking through bravofly was simple and had the best options for flights in terms of costs. No complaints! Would book through them again.
Our travel show has been all over the…
Our travel show has been all over the world but we have never encountered the type of terrible service and lack of any organizational experience that we have with Bravo fly. Warning warning warning under no circumstances make any bookings with this company. There is no customer service and you will have no recourse or any person to actually call. You will be forced to try to negotiate with an AI agent. We had approximately 14 attempts to try to modify the booking then we spent over a week trying to cancel the flight because we could not get the modification in time. We paid for the flex travel and we were completely ripped off. Go straight to whoever you are going to use as far as a provider but do not involve this company you will be very very disappointed and there will be headaches
