Exquis Eat 

I have bought food from exquis-eat. The rib-eye steaks are beautiful, i cook mine medium, slightly pink in the centre, no chewing, they just melt in the mouth. Had gorgeous prawn cocktails at christmas, prawns large and tasty. I can't fault Andy who sells the food, very friendly and polite, goes out of the way to come at a day and time when i'm available. Can't fault the company.

My ex partner quit his job as had no sales and Neil the boss has miss sold the job to him without telling him you pay for the van and ice and he had put his own fuel money in so he lost out. Then the fun part he starts accusing him and me his ex girlfriend of stealing a small amount of stock all because I was in the van days ago for a few hours. He told my ex he was going police about us both and when I rang to try and sort out the problem I got hurled with abusive name calling saying it doesn't matter if I didn't steal as I was in the van so I get into trouble. He then says I've got till tomorrow lunch to get 240 pound or he will make me and my kids pay one way or another it's disgusting behaviour and a unprofessional company. I'm suffering from depression and he's making my mental health worse. He also tell drivers it's cash in hand and not to pay taxes as you can get away with it and that the drivers should force people to buy even when not interested and to be intimidating. Well I'm contacting inland revenue about there taxes and all those drivers who have got away with it for years will soon have to pay back.

I was a previous driver for Exquis-Eat. As I went for the interview things started off ok. Went through the interview with Neil Livingstone (BATHGATE) and got the job, done my training and got my van. Then I was told by a driver that Neil takes £140 from you for the hire of the van and Ice. At the end of the first week I had no sales so was in total £170 DOWN on my bill. This was after puting £90 in the van for fuel. So due to this I realised the job was not for me. Gave the van back with its £685 stock that I previously had when I started. This was on 22 October 2012 when the van got handed back and the company are refusing to give my driving licence back to me. They have said its ''because they hav'nt got the £170 that I owed them''. Common sense should tell them that for a Unemployed Coach Driver he needs his licence to get a job to pay back the disputed £170. Its now 14 December 2012 still no licence and had a job offer from 05 November 2012 but was unable to take it due to the above circumstances. So Neil and Exquis-Eat see you and your solicitors in court for loss of earnings. And everyone else look out in the national newspapers for this story.

I've met two of the Exquis Eat Drivers yesterday. They just knocked on my door. They were very polite, not your usual pushy sales reps. They invited me to have a look at their seafood in the van. I must say the green lip new zealand mussels were absolutely huge ! I bought some chicken kievs and cooked them last night. They were lovely. Tasty, juicy exactly what I expected. You might pay a wee bit extra but at the end of the day for me QUALITY matters more than anything. It's a great concept and will definately buy again in future.

I was pressed into buying some frozen food from a very unpleasant representative that knocked on my door very late at night. The quality of the fish was awful and when I rang to request my money back after being offered a taste guarantee the little man on the phone told me that I didn't know what quality was. I didn't receive any money back and I shall never buy again!
