Disgusting, unacceptable service !

ordered a mattress from this company. their glitzy website is very appealing and full of promises. thought next day delivery is brilliant ! didn't happen but after 2 days thought must arrive today surely! still no mattress so phoned just to see what the delay was, expecting a reasonable excuse. I got through to reception but she wouldn't put me through to the aftersales dept said they would ring me back. And they didn't. Now starting to get annoyed ! I could never have anticipated the rest of this saga...
so over the next few days when i've got better things to do i'm phoning furniture 247 , this time they're not even picking up the phone!
so I e-mail and I don't get any acknowledgment of the e-mail and consequently no reply either.
At this stage what do you do ? Unbelievable ! in the meantime the sinking feeling is made worse when I read reviews from other customers who have been treated abysmally by this company. goods ordered , money taken and no delivery! and many who have a stressful battle trying to cancel and get their money back. Trading Standards have been notified from many dissatisfied customers yet they're still trading as far as i'm aware. How do they get away with it. ?
anyway its taken about 3 weeks and my bank have said they will give me a refund after I filed a complaint under " no goods received " even though I paid by debit card.

Trading Standards need to step in...

Ordered mattress, failed to arrive within 48 hours. No contact from F24/7 informing me of delay. After 8 days I cancelled. Was assured in writing I would receive refund in 14 days - which is out of order as the items hadn't even been dispatched. No refund after 14 days instead I received an email implying my order was still open and with some excuse as to why my mattress hadn't been delivered and hoping it hadn't inconvenienced me - incidentally no mention of when it would be delivered. I contacted same guy, David, who signs his emails "truly' - and seems to be the order line, aftersales and possibly even accounts department all rolled into one, reminding him we had cancelled. No answer. 23 days went by, no refund. Requested Onlline Dispute Resolution details, nothing forthcoming. My partner called up and David answered and was very rude, refused to put him through to 'accounts'. Now we've raised it with our credit card company to deal with and expect a chargeback within 2 days. If you'd like to know how to deal with scammers like this then just get in touch with Citizens Advice, they have an online page. Also always pay by credit card, they are equally responsible for getting you your money back. I think what this company is trying to do is hold onto people's money for as long as they can. They actually have 15 days following the 14 day cooling-off period to return money. Clearly their account is accruing lots of interest in their bank account. Trading Standards really should step in and close this business down as F24/7 are suppliers of items for people with disability and it must be very upsetting having to deal with being scammed when you're vulnerable or a carer.

Absolute joke

Ordered waterproof bed for elderly father, promised 4 different delivery dates before I cancelled and went elsewhere. Promised refund at least 6 times over 6 week period without anything. Had to resort to legal threats and the work of my credit card company to get money back. Impossible to contact and if you do get through they put the phone down. This firm should be closed they are the very worse type of con merchants . AVOID AT ALL COST, SLEEP ON THE FLOOR RATHER THAN GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY!!!

Disgraceful

Ordered an incontinence mattress for an elderly disabled lady on a low income, the delivery was due next day, 3 weeks later no mattress only to be told it was out of stock, cancelled the order and requested a refund, this was May 27th, August 18th still no refund. They continue to ignore my calls and emails. This company are a total disgrace and should be banned from trading, to do this to another human especially one that is disabled is utterly sickening. Please do not order from this company there are other decent traders out there.

Terrible experience...AVOID this company

We ordered a waterproof mattress from this company, they are selling or so they say "NHS" approved mattresses, yet they are all made from the same "foam" as one of their customer service reps told me, when I requested a NHS quality mattress to replace the rubbish one I had been sent.
The mattress was hard as rock and defective with stitching coming away, we ordered it in good faith for a disabled person. When we wanted to return it they told us it would be £45 plus admin fees making a total of £89 to send it back..
They did not offer a refund.
As the goods were defective we assumed it would be returned free of charge with a full refund.
We are stuck with it.
Avoid this company at all costs, their complaints procedure is none existent and their manager arrogant and unhelpful

Bad company - go elsewhere

Placed an online order over six weeks ago for £600 of bedroom furniture . Company promised fast delivery all they've done is take payment immediately and I am still waiting for a delivery date . Appalling customer service both via email and telephone . Fobbed off and lied to constantly . Have now been reimbursed by my credit card company and they are taking monies back from this rogue trader . Stay well away - very dodgy.

LIARS.

Furniture247 have lied--no surprise there!

If you hover your mouse over their 'certificate', it says that they are ''signed with SafeBuy''.... its a LIE, they are NOT. I have an e-mail from SafeBuy telling me, ''Unfortunately Furniture247 aren't signed up with SafeBuy''

I have informed Trading Standards and have sent SafeBuy and Trading Standards the proof that Furniture247 are a LYING, THIEVING company of rogue traders.

I am loathed to give them any stars at all and have had to rate them, having rated them before I wrote this, I sincerely hope it doesn't give them 2 stars, when in order to send this I have to rate again..
