From bad to to down right awful! Starting off by the phone ops taking down the wrong model number, so their repair center nearly rejecting the repair, to awful couriers, took loads of phone calls to get it sorted. Promised on the phone that the couriers would have a box to collect my £1500 TV but turned up with enough bubble wrap to only wrap once. Came back a week later than promised as they had "lost" the TV. Came back in a box but had hardly any protection, so the TV screen hard warped and bent in transit, also loosing my bundled accessories! Spoke to manager(Ben) who didn't give 2 hoots on the issue and said I had no choice but to send back for another repair without even an sorry. So another 2 weeks without my TV. Couriers came to collect again, this time with a box, but man handled the TV like it was indestructible, its a wonder it didn't smash. Finally come back, but now they have replaced with a budget screen, brightness on the screen is causing colour blow out and anything on the screen has lost detail that is slightly bright ie clouds have no detail in the sky where before you could see outlines. Going through many options and calibrations for a week, the screen is still awful. I have purchased a calibration Blu ray too. My TV is now worthless and unbearable to watch! Phoning them up they just tell me to change options and put up with it as they wont replace it.
Putting in a formal complaint amounts to nothing. 3 weeks later and still no reply. Speaking to them on the phone I am now told these are internal and wont be replied too. Yet in the email I received it says I will be replied too once the investigation is complete. Loads of lies and most of the staff sound like they really dont want to be there.
All I can say is never, ever buy from Currys/Knowhow! I have learnt an expensive lesson. If I had known I would have to send my TV to their repair centers I would have bought from another company who do local repairs.

I bought a beko washing machine and obviously took out a knowhow aftercare plan after having the washing machine for 9 years it started to smell of damp with age I've had 2 engineers out both stating that there's nothing they can as a result I'm not being offered a replacement even though the policy is if we can't fix it we'll replace it

Warranties sold under false pretences.
Sold me a warranty plan with terms and conditions on the reverse. I paid for the plan based on my acceptance of these terms.
When I call to make a claim, I'm told they are the wrong terms and conditions and in fact the policy I have purchased is not as good and has double the lead time. They apparently have had a problem sending the wrong letters to people - so apparently it's not fraudulent in any way-, it's just I received the wrong letter, it's a communication issue!!! I asked to speak to a manager and was refused because the manager advised they would not do anything about it so there was no point in taking the call.
Team Knowhow ought to be ashamed, if I can face it I'm taking it to a solicitor.

We are disappointed to make this complaint as our experience in store was very good.
Our scheduled 9-1pm delivery slot was missed and was eventually delivered at 2.05pm. There were important reasons why we wanted and paid for that delivery time. The driver looked blankly at me when I showed my concern regarding timings.
We also paid £45 for installation and demonstration for our new television as we haven't had a smart tv before but only got a rushed installation and noImage demonstration. This was due to my partner having to leave the house at 2.50 pm as we had a house viewing taking place at our home, which is one of the reasons why we scheduled a 9-1pm delivery. It was important to me to be home at the time of delivery and demo, however i had to take my son to an important rugby match ,which we had committed to at 2pm, however as we were still waiting for the TV at this time i missed the whole delivery process.
It was agreed during the sale process that the drivers would notify us of delivery time 30 mins before and this never happened.
Despite my partner asking various technical questions and reminding the men that we had paid £45 for a demo they were unable to answer questions and didn't provide a demo. However they did point out 2 buttons of importance on the remote control. Subsequently we have had to spend Saturday night trying to work out how to use the tv and we can't figure out alot of it , including the lack of freeview channels which we know should be on there.
Finally as the men didn't remove their work boots ,they walked mud through the lounge carpet ,which we have attached photographic evidence of. This was of particular distress as we had a house viewing straight after they left.
The men were both very polite, just the service was nowhere near as expected and we are wishing we hadn't spent the £45 installation/demo fee (there was no demo) and £15 delivery charge.

i bought a t v off currys in oct 2019 the remote locked up the tv switched it self off so they changed it, the second tv did the same so i am still stuck with a tv that does not work i have phoned and contacted them so many times the long calls have been for over an hour if any one knows what i can do to contact currys please let me know, all currys are is a legal mafia buy off them and you will find
out ,it hurts me to give them one star, it was currys on line e bay i bought off but it all goes through know how please dont use them If you express a view that is not on their list they ignore you so you have to go down the legal root they work on numbers they don’t care about bad publicity they are too big too care so be warned if you have a problem and complain you know the way they work

25 Jan 2020..Bought a Laptop for £900 on the 16 April 2019. I use this Laptop for my work. About two days later I started getting a blue screen with STOP CODE: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE. This continue to happen at a frequency of once a day which was Ok. I could cope with that. Then it started to get more and more frequent, at least 10 times a day. I took the item to the store Currys and they reset it. A week later I got my laptop back and about three days after the problem starts happening again. Now its happening at least three/four times a day. I decided to phone Team Knowhow to get support, I spoke to this arrogant unhelpful person called ROB. His way of fixing this reoccured problem was to either Reset the device again or take it to the store where they will diagnostic and reset it again.. He has not got an ounce of customer service skills. He showed his weaknesses, he got very cocky and arrogant. He does not understand the INCONVENIENCE caused everytime you reset the device. This Laptop has clearly got a serious problem. Rob then tells me they do not do replacement. He suggest everytime this happens I have to reset the Laptop. THIS CANNOT BE RIGHT. CURRYS HAS SOLD ME A FAULTY LAPTOP AND REFUSE TO REPLACE IT. I just dont know what to do now. This is affecting my day to day work. Currys Team Know How are just guessing and fobbing customers off. The customer sevice is appaling I give it a big FAT ZERO "0"... Rod clearly do not know his job, he just lie to Currys customers. If you think everytime this DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE happens I have to reset my Laptop YOU ARE WRONG. You do not have an ounce of respect for your customers and your ROB demonstrates that today. This person ROB do not understand HUMAN or he pretends. He does not connect with his customers, HE REPELS THEM. This clearly shows CURRY'S UNWILLINGNESS TO SORT OUT THIS PROBLEM..He should NOT be in Customer service. I would like this Laptop to be replaced please...

I bought a samsung curve tv from currys it went back for repair they sent it back broke because they droped it they eventully replaced the tv by writing it off this was a 1799 pound tv they only gave 819 pounds back for it the tv they replaced it with lasted only a year i will never buy anything from currys again there insurance aint worth nothing

I paid for the Knowhow team to install a new hob and oven, the engineers were appalling to say the least. They rushed the entire job and didn't complete the full health & safety checks.
To make matters worse, they knocked a pipe which caused a gas leak in my home (had they done the full gas check at the meter they would have known this had happened), I woke up the next morning with a terrible headache and a house full of gas.
The national grid were shocked by the lack of due diligence and have reported the case to the HSE (advising that this has happened on a number of occasions). I was then forced to spend hours on the phone remediating the situation. I am yet to receive an apology from the Knowhow team.
I will never be buying anything from Currys again let alone paying the Knowhow team for their installations. I find it shocking that such a large company can allow this kind of negligence to continue which could have cost me my and my partners life.

Tv broke after 4yrs and wrote off by your experts ! Voucher received was insulting as I was sold the care plan as a like for like replacement! Spent a small fortune on curved tv and sound bar ,bracket ,gold leads !wasnt happy with the voucher price spoke knowhow support who told us they would increase the amount no problem ! But told to do In store ! Instore then tells me in needs be support line or head office to authentic this
! 3hours in store whist you’re guys argue with each department nothing gets sorted 🤦♂️Day 2 speak with a guy called Jarvis who tells me to go back instore it should be sorted for full amount of the tv I’d spoke about to be then told in store this is not how it works ? Another 2hrs wasted !

I would leave 0 stars if I could. If you want to keep your sanity stay well well away from this company. They take on average 2-3 weeks to respond to emails and when they do, it's just canned responses that have nothing to do with the query. This company was quick to get me onto their insurance plan but when I wanted to cancel they wanted nothing to do with me. Charged me for insurance even when i emailed about cancelling. This company will trap you into insurance policies. When contacting the complaints helpline about this, they will just redirect you back to the insurance helpline. Lost so much money with this company. They will send u post about your bill before they get back to your email ITS A JOKE. I'm still waiting for a response to an email I sent 3 weeks ago!
Edit: Ed, if you had even reviewed my emails sent to you you would know I cannot call your company as I am halfway across the globe. hence why I tried to cancel my insurance plan in the first place. Still not resolved even after a follow-up email shortly after I made this review. Disgusting.

I purchased a Microsoft office 365 from their online service, unfortunately it never arrived. I called them up & they did send me another one, but when that arrived it hadn't been activated so useless. Went into the shop, they said this was a common thing to happen, so they spoke to the online team and was told to buy one in store & they would refund me the one purchased online. Purchased the one in store and to date they still haven't refunded me for the one I purchased online as now saying they want the other one back. At no point was I told to keep the original one & send it back. The shop kept it & threw it away as said it was worthless. Will never buy from this company again, Rip off

I sent my chromebook to repair over 2 weeks ago now... It's been sitting in the repair centre for all this time. If it can't be fixed please tell me rather than keeping me waiting. I have had to postpone so many deadlines because of this. The service over the phone doesn't tell you much either. Truly getting sick of this.

Dealt with Knowhow regarding my TV which has a line in the centre which a number of people have noted and can clearly see! they took it away to test and couldn't see the line after keeping it for a week!! now sending my TV back to me with a fault which is pathetic and their delivery service is awful as they let us know 5 minutes before delivering the TV which my wife missed as she was on the school run we then contacted them as they said they will deliver it later that day but didn't bother turning up or letting us know now they have advised they will be returning my TV in 2 days time... absolutely pathetic service do not recommend at all get cover elsewhere
