Probably the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Will take your order and money then inform you that they don't have the product in stock. After waiting many many weeks for the order with no sign of it I then had to fight for another few weeks to get my money back. Not sure how this company is still going as their customer service is Dismal verging on theft. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, this compnay does not deserve your hard earned money.
I was stolen in England by them. Really disappointed!
It's going to complete one year that I bought one pretty good Pilot's Overcoat in this "shop"... And I've never received it. Although even my refund. Even though my requests for solution, they have never treat my case as them should. I spent almost £100 to be treated as a dumbass.
I am sure you British people can help me now when I found this way to complaim.
Thank you so much for make this tool available.
Fraud, do NOT buy from them
Purchased a jacket in October 2013, paid it vias credit Card, no problems, unfortunately out of stock.... 3 months later no change, no Money refund, no action, just more promises to look into the matter. The money seems lost now.
Somebody should give these Guys a serious lesson !!
Theft of my money.
I purchased £199.95 worth of flight controls which said 'in stock', however I soon got the email it seems everyone has had that states the item is out of stock. They then continued to lie and fumble after about 20+ emails trying to get a refund they eventually stated they had gone out of business. They stole £199.95 off of me and I never received anything in return! It has been a lesson that there are some terrible people still left in this world! They need to be named and shamed so whatever other business they go into they can be brought up as the lying thieves they are.
utterly terrible
I've just found out from ur review site that the proviation shop has gone into liquidation. I was not expecting this as even though i ordered a cessa yoke system in November I genuinely believed there were stock problems after speaking to cessna themselves. But the customer care from proviation was disgraceful very late replies or no reply to emails and took my money very quickly. I will ring my bank n hope it can be sorted.
Proiation have probably gone out of business
Check their web-site. There is a notice that they can't accept credit cards anymore.
I had similar experience as others (initial delay then no response to emails).
If you used a credit card, ask for a "charge-back". My credit card vendor asked me to post a letter, attaching all emails, etc. About a week later, I received a refund.
Seeking legal advice
Placed order in October 2013. Website showed item in stock. Got the reply below, which I know many have had:
"We regret that there is a stock delay on this order at the moment. We are presently waiting for a new delivery in order to re-stock on this item. We apologise, especially if our site was showing an 'in-stock' status at the time you ordered. We anticipate making delivery within 7-10 business days. We will send your order by an express delivery service to minimize any inconvenience."
Since then I've been fobbed off with emails like "coming soon, can't promise when" etc. Numerous requests for a refund have been ignored. Now, you may think that Nick is a liar and a conman, but I'm not saying that. Below is part of an email I've sent to him today although he seems to have gone into hiding.
"Nick
I draw your attention to the below. I'm not going to drop this.
Your website stated item in stock. That was the only reason I gave you money. You knew that to be untrue ( and any reasonable person ie a juror would accept that on the facts as known).
Plain simple Fraud.
The Fraud Act 2006
Section 2 makes it an offence to commit fraud by false representation in any form. For a representation to be false, the representation being made must be wrong or misleading, and the person making it must know that it is, or might be, wrong or misleading.
If you refund my £89.95 I will take the matter no further. Otherwise, be assured that I will take every possible legal action. It's the principle
now, not just the money."
I know that there are many people in my position, some involving far bigger sums of money. We ought to get together and get this guy sorted.
No delivery and no communication
I ordered some HD camera goggles on 25th Jan, well in advance of my trip on 5th March. (Feeling pretty pleased with myself that I hadn't left a purchase until the last minute for once).
They sent an email after about a week later stating this:
"We are presently waiting for a new delivery in order to re-stock on this item. We apologise, especially if our site was showing an 'in-stock' status at the time you ordered. We anticipate making delivery in up to 3-5 business days. We will send your order by an express delivery service to minimise any inconvenience."
I still had 5 weeks so that wasn't a problem.
I am going on my boarding trip tomorrow and still no goggles, no-one has contacted me about the order and no-one has replied to the email I sent first thing yesterday morning.
They may be cheap, but I for one will never use them again and I suggest you also think twice about using them. Looks like my experience is not unique.
Absolutely shocking levels of Customer service
I ordered a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS from Proviation way back in July '13, I then received an email the next day to say that the item would be delayed. Fast forward to November '13 and still no item, despite numerous emails and conversations via web chat with assurances that the item would be despatched shortly. At this point I decided to cut my losses and cancelled the order, fine should be refunded in 8-10 working days. Fast forward to today; now I'll admit I should have checked sooner (and I regret that deeply) but lo and behold as of the 3rd March 2014 no refund has been received. This is hands down the worst purchasing experience that I have ever had, I'm out £300 which I'm now fairly sure I'll never see again, and a company that has ceased trading due to issues with their card services so any attempts at communication are now met with silence. If I could rate you zero I would. If they ever start trading again avoid at all costs.
Conned out of £470 still waiting refund !!!!!!!!!!!
Placed an order for a icom scanner plus a discone antenna total cost £469.95 in December 2013 , after many emails and blaming suppliers my order was cancelled on 10th February 2014 , to my surprise on their website they had gone into liquidation , still NO REFUND as was promised !!!!!!! and no LIQUIDATION OR Administrator address or name to get hold of , I have since been in contact with my bank and they will be pursuing for MY MONEY BACK !!!!!!!
Appalling Service, an absolute nightmare
Purchased a Go Pro camera in Dec '12 for my son. This was to support his research for his studies whilst abroad. The camera was faulty and only worked a couple of times. Upon my son's return to the Country I contacted Proviation and was advised to return the camera to them and they would send to the manufacturer to be fixed or replaced. The camera was returned to Proviation in November'13. Contacting the Company has been an almost impossible task since that point to obtain an update. I did receive a reply from Proviation in January following numerous emails, attempts at phoning and live chat (which never worked), promising an update from the manufacturer as soon as possible. (This was only received following a threat of reviewing the Company on the internet). I have not received anything since despite hundreds of attempts to contact Proviation. I have found this whole experience very distressing and now find myself needing to seek legal advice.
Frauds
Hi,
I have placed an order for two pairs of ASA-HS1-A.001 Passive Headset (O-21698) on 21.07.2013 with Proviation, and after several delays was informed that their supplier run out of stock.
I than requested refund which never materialise. Owner/MD was not responding to emails in 99% of the cases, none was picking up the phone or responding to voice mail. Month a half ago, after I threatened to inform Trading Standards, Office of Fair Trading and other bodies, they paid me back £25, and promised the rest soon afterwards.
Since 11.02.2014 their website is is stating that "As of 11 February, we have received news that we cannot accept credit or debit cards through our existing provider" [External Link]. Obviously, they are not responding to calls/emails anymore.
My intention is to get in touch with police and check on my options.

28.02.2014 UPDATE: I have posted a comment on Flyer Air Portal about these guys (with names, this time), in order to raise awareness between potential victims. Just for the rest of commentators here to know if they want to spread a word.

Very unprofessional, money stolen, I don't think I will trust this company anymore.
I've ordered a Saitek X52 Pro (14th November 2013) after a long delay with very little communication, the order has been cancelled.
The item has never been shipped.
I check my bank account everyday but a refund hasn't been received yet.
I've trusted this company by checking all the policy and the professionalism they advertise on their site.
I've sent several e-mails and tried to call them thousands times but no answer.
Always their automatic reply via e-mail.
It seems they've stolen my 140,90£.
Don't how they work.
Seems all a lie.
Hopefully this negative review will help me to sort out this.
I would like to give them 0 stars in the rating above but the minimum is one, anyway I don't think they deserve even 1 star.
------------- UPDATE--------------------------------
I've been emailing with the dealer and they told me to ask to my bank for a refund.
Now I have to go back & fore from USA to make a complaint with the authorities (in Italy it works like this).
Proviation also told me to complaint with financial ombudsman service.
they told that a Consumer Credit Law should be applied but I'm a international customer and I guess UK law applies only UK...
Let's see what happens...

Uncommunacative, slow, verging on fraudulant
Order a Saitek joystick back in Oct 2013, still hasn't arrived [Feb-2014].
Only communications from this company are after i chase them...nothing from them is volunteered.
They don't even acknowledge emails received forcing me to seek legal action against the operators for reimbursement of costs.
Have just read that they have ceased trading, which has to be a godsend for the community to have such an unprofessional organisation removed from the trading pool.
No order or refound
I order a Headsets, the 17th of January. After the payment, they told me that the item was not in stock. I waited for 3 weeks and after many emails asking about the order, they told me that they cancelled, and refunded order. This was 3 weeks ago and they haven´t refunded the order or answer to my emails yet.
very disappointing service - lost € 400
I ordered a Go-Pro Camera on the 3rd September 2013 to take it with me on holidays and even stated that it needs to arrive before the 12th as I am leaving then. I got a reply saying that it was noted on my order and the product should be there by the requested date. When I did not get the item on the 10th September, I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I neither got the camera nor the money. All emails and calls were not answered.
I will wait for another week and if I don't get a response by then (even here), I will make formal complaint to the European Consumer Centre.

Order received
I learnt the company has ceased trading now so I ordered my ipad mounts in the nick of time by the looks of it. I have to say although they always seemed stretched, I had good service and they were always quick to answer e-mails. I had bought maybe 4 times without incident despite one occasion where they missed an item off an order. So I will notice they are gone. They sold things you couldn't get at other stores.
Should not be allowed to trade. cannot be trusted. liars.
i ordered a flight bag on 1st dec 2013. paid for fast delivery. They took money immediately.
I recieved a few emails apologising for delay. Then nothing since end of dec.
They have not replied to emails or phone calls or answered my on- line chat attempts. Interestingly though a friend got through on his pc,,enquired about said bag and online was assured of same week delivery. incredible. I called my bank, who are in the process of recovering my money, since proviation didnt refund.
An appalling service. i will make a point of making sure everyone knows how this fake company deals with honest customers.
Avoid
I ordered a jacket they took the money straight away but said item was out of stock. They said they had refunded my money to my card and i need to check with my bank. No refund has been issued and they do not reply to my emails. Total fraudster.
liars
I have been told nothing but lies by Proviation. After reading the reviews on this site I realise that I am not alone. Same story...ordered item from them, money taken straight away, item does not arrive so I contact them just to told it is not in stock! I then cancel the order, they say they will refund, I gave them over two weeks to do so. After inquiering yet again about the reund they say they HAVE refunded here is the email I received from them yesterday:
This has already been refunded back to your card.
You may need to contact your card company to retrieve this, if this has already not been received.
Best Wishes,
I have contacted my card company and guess what? No refund.
I was going to takes them to the small claims but decided instead to get my credit company to claw it back, which I have set in motion.
My advice would be to steer well clear of this company.
Ken
And I have kept all the emails they have sent me if Trust pilot wants to see them...the card company does!
