I am so angry with Redcoon. I ordered a fitted /built-in washing machine from them in Germany because of their Premium Plus service (delivery, installation - including fitted or built in machines, removal of old machine). Their service - DHL - delivered the machine but did not install the new one or remove the old one. Too complicated according to them and they left. For 2 weeks I phoned and mailed redcoon and, besides placating noises, they did NOTHING. They did not even have the decency to call or mail me back ONCE. They simply said yes, they have had problems with this service. My tenant (to my embarrassment) has had to live for 2 weeks with a broken washingmachine and a new one standing in the middle of the sitting room. I have now had to find a plumbing service to install the machine and remove the old one. After 2 weeks of phoning and emailing they have finally agreed (per phone, I still don't have it black on white) to pay for this installation. I will have to compensate my tenant for 2 weeks of inconvenience - I want compensation from Redcoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+ Cheap price (lowest on price comparison sites) and fast delivery (few days).
- The woman that was handling the shipping did first hang up on me when she called me during a stressful lunch hour and my german was poor. She did call me again when the delivery failed and in a less stressful time at the office and I could manage the conversation better.
- The delivery/instalment said that they would not carry up the washing machine if the elevator did not work, but the elevator did work so we got it up to the apartment. They were not very interested in being friendly but they did install it and it worked.
- The freight was a bit expensive, 35 euro and then another 30 euro for the direct delivery and instalment (total 65 euro). I know they give free shipment now (so now it is only 30 euro), a bit sad to miss out good offers.

I had a question about delivery, but when I got the answer, the product price had risen €140(from 819 to 959).
I asked the customerservice if I could buy to the original price, and they answered "We offer daily best possible prices. This may also rise. A discount is not possible.

I think that is very bad customer service and I would recomend that you seek you purchase elsewhere.

I dont ask for a discount, I ask that you sell me the product to the price at the time I contacted you.

Good store, which is now rare to find on the Internet. Very fast delivery!

This is the second time I had shopped with Redcoon and have had a pleasant experience both times. I had to return the item I bought the first time and Redcoon were prompt in replying to me and accepting the returns without any hassle.
This instilled confidence in me as I had never shopped before from Redcoon.
The Delivery speeds were awesome (very fast). The quality of packaging was good and the free returns without any hassles are an added advantage. I must also state that the prices were cheaper than those found on other shopping sites. I would definitely recommend shopping from Redcoon and I would be shopping from them again soon.

Beware if you order from this company, you won't see it the next day or the same week. I have copied the status of my order from my REDCOON account.

It is now Jan 25, 2012 and I was just informed the earliest I can have my new refrigerator is next Tues, 31 Jan, 2012.

From the day I made the initial order to the day I will receive my purchase will be 17 days....And I still won't know if it will arrive without damages!!!!
