This is just a reminder to management of this company. I am not giving up on my money after taking my laptop for several months now and refusing any contact from me. You are always quick to respond when customers give you good rating but you hold back when it's the other way round. These company is to be AVOIDED at all cost.

THE GATEWAY

Once upon a time... in a market town not so far away....there was a pretty blue Gateway that fell upon dark days when it lost its will to light up. What to do?

Since it was going to be costly to fix, we figured it might be too far gone to be salvaged in any way. Alas, after a little Googling we spied Sell-Your-Laptops.co.uk and thought we would give them a whirl. We submitted our details and crossed our fingers. How delighted we were when Sam Henderson responded so quickly, and with a generous quote, to boot. After hesitating about whether or not to ship our laptop to a company we didn't know, we decided to take the plunge. We carefully swaddled our Gateway, packed it into a box and shipped it off. Anxious to see how its journey would unfold, we tracked it via Parcelforce. Shortly after landing on the Sell-Your-Laptops.co.uk doorstep, Sam contacted us to let us know it had arrived. He quickly assessed our ailing Gateway's issues and sent us the final quote which we happily accepted. After sorting out our PayPal details we received payment quickly.

Though we were initially reluctant to sell our laptop online, Sam completely alleviated any fears we had. We were impressed with how he kept us apprised step-by-step throughout our transaction. We would definitely use this company again which is the best endorsement any customer can give....repeat business!

Sometimes when one Gateway closes... a window opens.

And they all lived happily ever after.

They pay what they promise to pay you, if not they would advise you another quotation and make sure you are happy to carry on. Free postage as well! Money was in my account within 2 days of posting the laptop to them! Thank you!

I had been meaning to sell an unused Sony Vaio I had lying around for a while now, but alas, upon booting it the screen would no long display due to the GPU burning out!
I shopped around a while for businesses looking to purchase broken laptops and out of the 7 websites I received quotes from (many of which were pretty abysmal, the worst of them being for a pathetic £2.90), I finally received a reasonable quote from sell-your-laptops.co.uk; even better was that they refund your postage costs. The quote came in fast and I found the overall communication to be friendly, reassuring and very professional.
My laptop was inspected the same day they received it and the money was deposited directly into my bank account a few hours later.

It seems that most online-based companies these days will go out of their way to cheat you whilst skimping out on the customer service; I can absolutely not say the same for sell-your-laptops.co.uk.
Overall experience has been tremendous and would highly recommend them to anybody looking to be rid of an old laptop - functioning or no.

Now I can buy the new glasses I need after accidentally stepping on mine last week! No more taped up spectacles and squinting at the board in class hurrah!

I looked at a number of companies for selling my broken laptop and had good quotes but then reviews showed they didn't always pay out etc.

Sam at SellYourLaptops replied quickly to a number of emails I sent, quoted me a good price on the laptop and I received the money the same day as I sent the email confirming that I was happy with the offer. Couldn't fault the service.

Came to pick up my laptops the next day and I got money for it, great prices.

Take quite long time to process, but you will receive your money as quoted. Excellent!

I found sell-your-laptops a fantastic company, the customer service was excellent (thank you Sam), i received a very fair quote for my broken laptop, and from posting the laptop the money was in my PayPal account within a week. I was even asked if I would like a copy of my photos from the laptop before it was wiped. Excellent and I will without doubt be using them again.

Got a great quote, fast service and payment! Didn't feel ripped off like at other laptop for cash sites, and they refunded the postage which is the main problem with selling a laptop online!
