Our outward trip was delayed by 2 hours due to (apparent) priority given to a cruise ship (seemed a bit strange) ... On both trips we could only find seating in the prioroty lounge which is expensive... See more

It’s tricky to find out when a boat is sailing on a particular day ! I e. Douglas to Larne
Had to go in and out of dates to find a suitable sailing !! Eventually I rang the office to ask what days the boat was sailing !!
I did not have to wait long at all to be put through - and the young lady I spoke to was very helpful - and sorted my query out quickly and efficiently
It was a beautiful day for sailing to Liverpool and everything went well
just looks outdated and not as streamlined to book for different times. But did the job and easy enough
Only one criticism, the assumption that the lead passenger is the one paying for the trip!
Easy to follow and amend after putting the wrong return date in
It was mostly ok, but I had to do it all twice as for some reason it didn't like my credit card
The website is dated and needs a refresh urgently. It is the gateway to the IOM for many people and should look better. There should be an app. Not having one makes the IOM look backward
The booking process was accessible and easy to navigate online. Some indication of how busy a sailing might be would help decisions on seating as we stood the whole way on a packed boat then booked seTs to return on a sailing with loads of space. Novices I suppose.
Website is ok to navigate and configure. Could do with pricing a mobile app though.
The booking itself was fairly straightforward for me but the lack of availability for my dog to travel with me as a foot passenger has meant I have to leave her behind .
This means she will miss out on seeing her family as well as needing to source a pet sitter.
This is the case now for a couple of trips I am taking in September otherwise I would not have raised it as an issue.
I was in the process of booking and got to the final stage of putting my card details in but got no confirmation for the booking or the £76 cost. I wondered if it was an internet problem and so I'd check the next day.
I rang the next day to check but apparently there was no such booking, and my bank confirmed this, so I booked again. But this time it was £108! I called to ask why, apparently I had missed the "deal" but there was nothing they could do.
I'm an IOM resident. I found this a huge jump just for no fault of my own. Very frustrating!
The booking process was easy and quick. Choice of sailing times was provided.
