Tesco trying to return a new 'faulty' T.V
Had to return a new 'faulty' T.V. back to their outlet, their returns procedure is a joke! I printed off their returns label, boxed it all up, pasted their label, took the tv to a P.Office, queued up, finally went to a teller only to be told sorry wrong label (max 5Kgs)! brought it home, contacted tesco, told to take it to a Hermes shop or alternatively contact Hermes, fill in their form, download a new label, paste it and wait in for a collection.
Why am i expected after being 'messed around' to do their work for them? i told them that i wanted them to arrange a collection but all the responses were to repeat that i had to again take it to another shop somewhere? or to arrange the return myself. I am not paid by them to do any of this after all it's their faulty T.V. pathetic response from them & this is from someone in their 60's with health problems!
All they'll say is sorry & carry on as before - no Tesco arrange returns properly as other retailers do!
Tesco Mobile Phones
Unbelievable situation ,I have moved to a new provider as Tesco is dreadful and they refuse to unlock my phone. This has been going on for 2 months now I ring they say they will get someone to ring me back ,on their phone which doesn’t work because they won’t unlock it .Rang today again said my file said the issue has been resolved .It hasn’t,solutions? Will ask manufacturer to give them a code ,will take 21 days ! Do not deal with them ,worst customer assistance I have ever encountered
Pre-Ordered Fallout 4 VR a month ago …
Pre-Ordered Fallout 4 VR a month ago after falling for their Play the latest games on the day of release spiel, Now 5 days after release date still no game, My own fault should have done some research on trust pilot.
One word - AVOID
Unbelievably poor. They ask for feedback and then they don't do anything about it. They want you to review a product but don't provide this feedback on their site to help other shoppers. They allow you to buy a product, and then don't deliver it, until after much pestering, they finally relent. They are just terrible. There are better places to go. My last choice option is Tesco.. AVOID!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I placed an order for a ps3 game on 15th April - marked NEXT DAY DISPATCH expected delivery 18 april, for my son's birthday
I waited in - as the item stated it required 'an adult to sign', and after several phone calls, was told my order had been despatched and i could expect in 3-5 days. Call 2 - informed up to 10 days. Call 3 - oh sorry, your order was cancelled you should have been told and have been refunded, and oh yes you should have been told when you called earlier as we knew then.
But it's not Tesco's fault of course, it's their supplier ....!!! RIDICULOUS
Never never never again. Amazon was £4 more, I will pay £10 more to not use Tesco entertainment ever again !
Amazing company
I have used Tesco Entertainment for over 3 years now. I am a huge gamer, so i tend to buy every popular release. Id say i have ordered over 50 games in this time. Every single one has been very quick, pre orders have been at my house on the release date every single time. I have used the likes of game, amazon, ebay and nothing compares to Tesco. I have also ordered CD`s, Dvd`s, Books and im never dissappointed. I Dont normally write reviews, but i thought they deserved some credit, escpecially how everyone else is negative.
So an excellent company, i have even got all my friends pre ordering their games from Tesco.
Appalling! Give them a wide berth.
I ordered a PC game in the middle of August. It had an expected dispatch date within a few days. Everytime I checked back they had added days onto the estimate to a point where I really did not want the item anymore as I could get it elsewhere. I tried to cancel the item but as it weas 'marked for dispatch' I could not cancel it. I sent them an e-mail which they did not reply to. I telephoned them and the lady said she'd do what she could to cancel it. This was in the middle of September. I forgot all about it as I thought I had dealt with the issue, had no money exit my account nor did I receive the game (which i have already bought now from somewhere else.). This was until the 5th October when the unwanted item arrived on doormat. On top of that Tesco do not give free returns of items meaning I have to pay postage to return it. All this could have been avoided had they had a robust, reasonable ordering system. There is no reason why an item that is weeks from dispatch with no money already taken should not be able to be cancelled... very bad. Now tescoentertainment.com is closing and going to be part of tescodirect so I'd keep a very close eye on that webite if I were you.
I wouldnt even give them 1 star
Okay so ordered a game it showed available then it said 4/5weeks so i phkned to cancell and notice they had already taken payment when they say they take payment at dispatch i phones to cancell as i didnt want wait 4/5 weeks so they said okay to my request one week later gane arrives and money taken when i didnt have money in my account so im unauthorised overdraft now to make it worse i phones to complain and they where rude when they answered the phone a women was speaking to someone else for 30 secs and then decided to speak to me i have been in 3rd countries that bave better seevice
Don't waste your time.
Ordered a PC game (Skyrim) as a present which was supposed to be dispatched next day on 23/08/12 this then changed to within 4/5 days from 27/8/12 then 4/5 days from 02/09 at which point I emailed to cancel order which they failed to do instead replying that they would "look into it" ,dispatch then changed to 4/5 days from 08/09/12, just emailed again to request they honour my original request for cancellation.
Very poor show, did they ever have the game?
Slow delivery
A pr-eorder hasn't arrived a week after the release date. Cant believe they use second class for new releases.
Prices are also usually far higher than play.com or zavvi.com unless you can find a voucher.
Okay
Items usually arrive within a couple of days but the last thing I ordered was a take that dvd, the box was scratched and my email went unanswered.
Just cant get it right
Ordered a PS3 game from them which should have been the collectors edition (which I paid more for)
First they sent the regualr edition which I had to send back, then I received a xbox version (regular, not the collectors) and the third one I got the regular PS3 version again.
Eventully just asked for a refund and bought elsewhere as it was clear they were not going to get it right.
WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND
Used to be good.
I used to buy my games and DVD's from Tesco entertainment until they tried to rip me off. I recently pre-ordered a game for the PS3 platform however they changed it to x-box as they realized that the price they sold for it for was probably too low compared to others and knew that If they changed my order I would cancel It as it's not the one I would want, even though i am highly certain that when I ordered the game, it was for PS3. So I contacted customer service which took about 4-5 days to get a reply from and all I got from them was "We cannot change the order made" which I think was outrageous and bulls**t. They also said "Should you order from us again" Pshhh no thanks tesco. I trusted this company but it seems it's just another let down in my opinion. I got the game for £35 on pre-order and now I have to pay an extra £15 because of Tesco? No thanks!
Good value, great service but anxiety-inducing!
I occasionally get offers from tesco regarding discount pre-order xbox games, they're usually good value but require pre-payment (no problem). But then you don't hear anything until it arrives, it can get a bit anxious whether it'll arrive on day one of release but so far so good and a couple early!
Poor customer service
Ordered a PC game and it clearly stated that I would receive an email giving me an early access code to the game. 24 hours later, this code still had not arrived so I emailed customer services. 48 hours after this email was sent, I still had not received a response so I called the helpline. I was advised that my query would be passed on to business support. After checking forums, it appears I am not the only one not to receive the early access code and lots of people have had to contact customer services. This is not good enough Tesco. Why say we will receive and early access code, when we have not? Why advertise this on the website when you cannot deliver the promise? I will not be using you again.
This site has really gone down hill
The serch was really good gave you a small BIO on the artist you were looking for and what you went there for. The pages always looked good. Now I get headacres looking at the pages (black on white) and my god I now scarch page after page looking for the music track I'm looking for.
