You take money from my kid, without him understanding what is happening! He is only 11 and there is no way to quit this. Not the first time this happens. You should go to jail all of you, scumbags.

This is the business model of those companies
- 90% of their clients are scammers running "promotions"
- some basic due diligence is done in house this is to ensure that the "win an iphone" or those silly games that you can play for free elsewhere is a legit "service" and I use the term very loosely, those due diligence processes to ensure that the service or win an iphone actually sends out an iphone to the winner.. by which time the scammer has made thousands upon thousands of pounds and gives out one Iphone or whatever prize a month for a few hundred
- txtnation then provides this "customer" with the tools to be able to run said promotion, through pinging a bulk amount of phone numbers to see what sort of plan are they on ( postpaid/prepaid) and is it active or not and launch a phishing attack essentially to thousands of numbers at a time, some of them bite ( this is in case of premium SMS, payforit method below )
- Payforit clients embed the txtnation code in their website or adverts - a lot of the time hiding the payment window from the consumer with a frame
- if you're using your mobile data some of those apps automatically get your phone number and prefills it then the scammer code (not txtnation at this point) clicks the subscription
- you - the consumer - are supposed to agree TWICE to that charge which then gets added through your mobile phone carrier but seeing as the scammers hide the message you get nothing
- most of their victims are elderly, children and people who don't speak English very well ( at least in the UK)
Unfortunately its completely legal and supposedly regulated by OfCom, the networks (such as EE, 3 , O2 etc) also get a piece of the cake as well as txtnation and of course their horrendous clients, txtnation keeps the money in total for a while to handle refunds but more goes unnoticed by consumers than not then pays those clients
HOW TO FIGHT THIS!!! :-
All in all, you CAN fight this and they are obliged by law to refund you, email them more than once (dont call, its useless) - their first response is supposed to tell you that you were charged for so and so promotion, don't let it go and ask for a refund AGAIN, they will refund you on the 3rd time. if they don't take it up to the network, if not go directly to Ofcom however you need to know who is charging you - you can do that with PSAuthority org uk for the united kingdom, unfortunately I don't know much about other european countries but the email route and network operator route should work.
I really hope this helps someone get back their money from this infernal market

FRAUD! CHF 60 for 12 "Premium-SMS" which we never ordered. Criminals. Their custumer service seems to be based in Montenegro... Saying that txtNation is just a billing company is simply not true, they are in on this scam, that's where they get their money.

Fraud. Thieves steal money without consent.
I just found out that my operator charged me 150 txtNation. I had no idea about what is txtNation but after googling it I just found out that many other people have been defrauded and their money was taken without consent.

I found out when digging a bit deeper why I got those ttxt message invoices in my teleoprator bill and this txtNation is only a billing company and there is always some other company behind it, just like in my case. Got my money back from the teleoperator.

This is a scam company. They have been fined multiple times by the English Phone Paid Services authority.
You can file a complaint through the PSA web page. The link cannot be posted here but googling: "report an issue phone paid services authority" directs you to the correct page.

What the hell is this, I never subscribed to your service, and today in my invoice I got 14€ as extra on top of the monthly bill. Telia network says they can't sort it out and your hell is charging some amount weekly from my mobile. You are true spammers even I never subscribed to your services.

Swindled my pensioner mother in law out of €50 and phone company closed her account and now her phone has been cut off. She never signed up for this in the first place and got scammed by txt nation through tesco mobile ireland. Will be taking legal small claims court action to publicise what these swindlers are doing to people.
Following your reply you won't answer my emails. You post a generic comment for every comment so you cannot be trusted I need your regulators name and your legal representatives details

I have been getting charged for premium rate texts by you. €2.50 per message x2 at a time. I have not been receiving any messages just have had my account deducted the charges. I have got on to my phone provider who said that you have been charging me...I have not signed up for anything. Why is this happening to me and how can it happen to me? Pure scam

(Basel, Switzerland) Received "Premium SMS" since January which cost CHF 5.- each. Can't remember subscribing to anything, don't use regular txt (sms) services anyway, service did not match any of my prior billing, the phone company admitted.
I'm in contact with a consumer protection agency and a mediating lawyer to find out how to get my money back.
This shouldn't just be regulated but illegal. This company, as far as I can tell, provides no benefit to the world and just latches on to phone bills like a parasite.
Also TxT Nation didnt reply to any of my calls so far. Shame on them. If you work there, do something better with your life.

I can repeat the same as most others. Have a 11 year old, that was tricked into this fake subscription.
Don't bother sending your semi automatic reply, that you've been sending since July 2019 (at least).
You sure aren't in a hurry trying to fix this!!!!
So sad.
Sending the employees love and peace.
They must be in shortage...

SCAM ALERT!!
Charged my 11 year old granddaughter's phone for services she never signed up for. No recourse after 13 emails. Gave me number of so called vendor to complain. After several unanswered calls to number given someone finally answered then connected me back to txtnation rep. This company ought to be thoroughly investigated and shut down. ZERO RATING IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE!
Out approximately 120 euros .
ANSWER TO YOUR REPLY: Did you NOT read my review where I clearly stated that I have ALREADY emailed you 13 times today?! Your reps gave me a Helsinki 09 number for Triviastic , which when I called, redirected me to TXTNATION, where I was once more told there was nothing you could possibly do! Your reps via email were rude and unhelpful .The ones on the phone said we are only a billing service, nothing we can do. ( except for the first one I spoke to who promised to send an email to my YALE address ,saying I'd be reimbursed via my bank or PayPal. THAT email never arrived). In the meantime, absolutely no response from the Triviastic email PS IT IS ILLEGAL IN FINLAND TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH AN 11 YEAR OLD!

I am a THREE Ireland Customer. I have had hundreds of Euro taken from my account. I am 72 and in lockdown. I'm away from home and had no access to my paper bills and THREE Ireland kept deducting money on behalf of TxTNations. THREE Ireland has now stopped these chages but refuse to refund me and as there is €37.57 outstanding, which I am refusing to pay. THREE Ireland have now blocked my phone and are sending threatening letters. I had never heard of TxTNations, I did not order/request/require and I never respond to text's I do not recognise. These scam companies will only be stopped when the phone companies are forced to stop facilitating them. THREE Ireland claim this is a third party charge but they are making a profit from taking money from peoples accounts and then force their customers to contact this scam company to try to get their money back. This is so wrong. Don't bother getting on to COMREG because for some strange reason they actually approve this company. I have written to The Minister for Telecommunications, I urge any one ripped off by this company to do the same.
