UK Digital Cameras 

I have had 2 reasons to be grateful to Holly at UK Digital Cameras. The first was when she noticed I had inadvertently ordered 3 Sony DSC-HX990V cameras and queried whether I actually only meant to order 1 - fat-fingered syndrome! Thus she saved me the hassle of returning 2 unwanted cameras.

The second was when the same camera stopped recharging last month. Holly arranged the return to Sony under warranty and kept me informed about progress. From my phone call for advice to receiving my repaired camera took just over a week. While Sony's repair section are to be congratulated it was Holly at UK Digital Cameras that made the process entirely pain free.

Ordered from France, no problem, delivered quickly and very well packed, company and very serious staff very attentive to the questions of their customers. I recommend without any problem this seller. Philippe

Very happy with the service I received. After I'd bought the camera I didn't receive an automated 'confirmation' email as is usually the case when shopping online so, I contacted them by email and got a reply very quickly. They apologised and added the express delivery (worth £10) to my order as a goodwill gesture. The camera and accessories arrived the next day. I had also been searching for the best price and this site was by far the cheapest. Panasonic DMC-FZ330 plus a bag, 3 year warranty and 16GB card for £454, the camera alone on Amazon is £449. Will be using this site again!

I bought a Sony A6000 from UK Digital, because of their fair international postage rates. Other UK stores dare to ask up to 30 pounds for a shipment to the Netherlands. The camera arrived in 2 working days and in perfect condition.
Moreover, the email contact I had with their customer service was very good. Quick response to any of my questions.

In conclusion, my new go to online camera store in the UK!

I placed an order for a Sony Alpha A6000 + 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens Black (ILCE-6000) on 1st March. The website suggest a 3-4 delivery period and the item was identified as In-Stock. I was buying the camera for my wife's birthday which was the 9th March. After placing the order the automatic bounce back suggested a delivery date between 4th & 9th March, ok, that's cutting it fine but regardless I'll have it for her birthday. The 7th arrives and there hadn't been any notification the camera had been dispatched and now I'm getting anxious so I wrote to UK Digital Cameras saying that unless they could guarantee delivery then I would like to cancel the order (I could then order from Amazon and receive next day). Holly from UK Digital Cameras replied stating that the camera would be sent with guaranteed delivery before 12am on 9th, so all was well. However the 9th came and went and no birthday present for my wife..... (:-(
The camera was eventually delivered on the 10th. As with a previous review the camera appeared to have been previously opened, (presumably to add the UK charging equipment?). It took UK Digital Cameras nine days to dispatch a camera which they claim was in stock - very poor show. I'll be using the likes of Amazon again in future but certainly not UK Digital Cameras.

I ordered a nikon P610 for my wife's birthday and paid the £10 extra to have it delivered next day. The parcel arrived and I put it in the back bedroom because I was waiting for the nikon bad and memory card to arrive which I bought from another website.
On my wife's birthday she opened the box to find a nikon box with no seal on it which I found strange . The camera looked good the memory card fitted ok.
Later on I tried to register the camera on nikon website for the 20 gig of free cloud storage and 2 year warranty. I kept getting rejected when entering the serial number.
So I phoned nikon to find out what the issue was and a very helpful guy called Martin told me to take a picture of the serial number plate and upload it to the nikon site, which I did.
Martin phoned me back and told me this was not a nikon serial number and I should return it and ask for my money back as the picture I sent him clearly showed minute scratch marks where someone had removed the serial number and replaced it with a fake one.
I called holly at uk digital cameras and she said I could return it and a full investigation would be carried out. I have not heard anything and didn't want to make a fuss I just wanted to get my money back, which I did including the £11 I paid to send it back.
Holly said that uk digital cameras open the boxes to make sure all is present in the contents, well I now know things were missing, and I agree with a previous reviewer, why are uk digital cameras opening the boxes if nikon have sealed them then that's how the customer should receive them. This process is open to abuse.
A scary moment there and not a nice buying experience, would like to know what happened there.

Contacted this company who helped me through complete procedure with purchase of Fuji X1pro camera kit.
They also kept me fully informed of the process and order by email and also by phone.
I really can't praise the company high enough but when you get this kind of service I think it's only right to let other potential customers know.

Whilst looking at the usual sites for my purchase I came upon UK Digital Cameras and I was pleased to say the least at the price of this camera. I must admit I was a little unsure of using this site as I had not heard of them.
I rang and ordered my camera , spoke to a girl called Holly I must say what a delight to deal with. If only there was more customer service like this about.
My camera came within the time I was quoted and since then I have enjoyed using the camera very much.
Yesterday I spoke to a friend who was looking for a camera and I have recommended him to use this site and hopefully he will be able to find what he is after and will receive the same excellent service that I did.
I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new camera to at least give this site a go.

This camera, although perfectly OK, is in fact a EUROPEAN IMPORT.
It is supplied with what would be described as the cheapest UK adaptor going.
So off to buy another. Would of spent and extra £15 elsewhere if I had been told of this, but of course, no mention of it on their website.

So great prices, but remember, could well be an import!!

I had looked at previous reviews for UK Digital Cameras and apart from a handful of poor reviews all the rest seemed very happy with their experience. On Wednesday I decided to order my camera at 11:30 and was amazed to receive it the following day at 10:20 by Royal Mail. The camera cost £20 less than I could find it elsewhere in this country and I didn't even pay for express delivery. The camera looks to be in pristine condition. What more can I say other than "Thank you, and if I need another camera in future, I know where to come". What brilliant service both by UK Digital Cameras and Royal Mail.

A few months back I decided to buy the Sony A7s and thought I'd buy it from UK Digital Cameras due to them offering it for a few hundred pounds less than other competitors. I called the company up and they seemingly put all my worries at ease that the camera they sold was indeed new.

However when I received the camera it had been opened, wasn't sealed and there were no instructions or warranty information in the box. I kept pushing them as to why they would not be included but the customer service woman explained that the staff in the warehouse OPEN ALL products as part of some alleged "quality control".

I don't think UK Digital Cameras staff are capable of doing a more thorough quality control on Sony's equipment than Sony's staff who are trained how to make the device itself.

It was beyond a joke and led me to believe that they are selling refurbished cameras as new and I believe someone should do an investigation into this companies dealings. They refunded the money in full and suggested if I wasn't happy with the camera even after use they would be happy for me to return it within the 14 day window which would play into my theory of selling refurbished kit.

When you pay 1000+ for a product you expect it to have been unopened and containing all of the correct contents.

UK Digital Cameras were really friendly and helpful, promptly responding to my emails regarding camera specifications. Once ordered, the delivery came the very next day at no cost and their delivery provider (DPD Deliveries) were super efficient and allowed you to track the driver up to your front door. The camera I purchased (Sony RX100 III) is perfect and was packaged well. I would thoroughly recommend this company as they not only offer great low prices but also great service.

Purchased Nikon camera and bundled case, SD card and extended warranty. Slow delivery. No extended warranty paperwork. They told me that it was OK and that it was recorded on their system. The package was a birthday present so wasn't opened for a couple of weeks. Embarrassingly the camera was too large for the bundled case.
It seems that no one answers the phone anymore, so I emailed Holly and also the sales team about the problem. Two weeks later, still no reply and still no one answers the phone. I don't expect the case issue to be resolved and am doubtful about the warranty. I think I have been taken for a ride.

I phoned UK Cameras and spoke to the very helpful Holly. She answered my queries and I ordered my new camera. I paid for next day service and that is what I got.

I am very pleased with the excellent service I have had from UK Cameras.

They dealt with a change in the order very efficiently, the goods were delivered on time. Can not be faulted.
