Conscious consumption

In April, we celebrate Earth Day, a special celebration of the planet we live on. To honor the occasion, we are highlighting companies on Trustpilot that work to make the earth a better place and have sustainability at the heart of their missions.

Sand Cloud: Eco-friendly beach towels and gear

Sand Cloud really takes sustainability to the next level. Their brand is centered around their signature gorgeous beach towels, but they also offer clothing, accessories, and reusable products to help people reduce their personal plastic footprint.
All of their products are produced sustainably and their shirts are made from recycled plastic that is woven into fabrics. Additionally, 10% of their profits go towards marine conservation. #savethefishies

Review of Sand Cloud: Love! (5 stars)

Naturisimo: Eco-friendly wellness products and garments

Naturismo — an online retailer that sells skincare, grooming, clothing, and wellness products — limits their packaging to the standards needed for safety and acceptance by consumers. They only use packaging that can be recycled, manufactured responsibly, and is biodegradable.

There are also different filters on their site so that you can be sure you’re buying products that are certified natural, certified organic, or vegan, depending on your priorities.

Review of Naturisimo: I look for brands that I can trust (5 stars)

Good Energy: Sustainable energy supplier

Good Energy aims to transform the energy market by helping homes and businesses be a part of the sustainable solution to climate change, and they’ve been doing so since 1999. They buy 100% renewable power and they offer carbon-neutral green gas (gas produced from organic matter, like manure).

They also emphasize ethical business practices and fair payment for every person involved with running their business. To help fight for change on a larger scale, they work on different environmental projects and campaigns, shown on their website, like initiatives around climate change and the Paris Climate Talks.

Review of Good Energy: I am enthusiastic about choosing an ethical company to deliver my energy needs (4 stars)
