We have hired from this company many times and always find their prices to be the best, cars are always spot on, clean, not old and the process is always very easy. The biggest thing is we are Tasmanian and this is a Tasmanian company. Why wouldn’t we give our money to them, as opposed to one of the big international companies. We had a truck for one day to move some furniture.

We will always hire from this company whenever book a hire car in Australia as they have a big presence in every state. I highly recommend this company? Plus, they reward you if you are a returning customer.

Found Bargain Car Rentals very easy to communicate with and price is reasonable. Only downside was the little car we had was difficult with hopeless power steering.

I wasn’t looking forward in hiring a car as the last experience in another hire car company made me sorry I asked but at bargain cars from the start at reception the lady couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful she just made the whole experience of hiring a car brilliant, I think I answered three questions and off I went. The young lady just made our holiday within a holiday very pleasant.

The car was very suitable for our needs and was economical to run and good value to hire.The only problem we had was trying to make phone contact to clarify the return details as we were due at the airport at 7 am and the office didn’t open until 7 am. Eventually the call was returned and we returned the car and were transported to the airport with time to spare.Well done Bargain cars.

The vehicle itself was good but the customer service during the time we had the vehicle was shocking, there was none. Good customer service is everything & when there is none I would be reluctant to use the same company again.

Car that was given to us broke down on the 2nd day of our trip, in the middle of an intersection in Brisbane. Help line directs you straight to RACQ, which then towed the car to Brisbane Airport office.
Employees at Brisbane Airport office were swift with the swapping over of the cars, however employee at Gold Coast Airport was rude when returning the car.
Overall online customer service has been atrocious at resolving the matter.
Wouldn’t recommend.

Awful experience- staff were as helpful as they could be but I was trying to book a car for a month from Spain, for our holiday in Cairns Australia, and they advertise a price match. I tried to email the company but they have a rule that you have to phone: my telephone package would not enable me to phone so I asked if it could be done via email. I spoke to lots of different people via email and it was a complete waste of time. I eventually managed to find out I could add some credit and called them- I put €10 and it all went on hold waiting to be answered. You could request a call back but experience tells me these rarely work. Ended up booking with someone else as it was all too irritating and stressful.

Picked up quickly from airport , got to office, car processing slow due to training a new administrator however was pleasant process.
Car was good and on return all went well

I have hired cars from Bargain Car Rentals several times from different localities in Australia. I always find the service to be good, helpful and reliable. It is not as expensive as some car hire companies. The cars have always been sound. The company allows some travel on well-maintained public gravel roads which is very helpful when visiting scenic parks and reserves.

We were served at the Bargain Car Rentals at Melbourne and Tigun looked after us and he was a very knowledgeable and helpful customer service rep. He gave us options, showed us he genuinely cared about providing top service, I have always found that Bargain Car Rentals have people that lead the way in servicing customers well

Such a straight forward process and at the right price. They were able to accommodate us last minute and I was really impressed with the service. The car was like new, reliable and fuel efficient. Returning the car was a breeze. I will definitely be booking with them again.

Easy to book and pick up. Quite busy when we arrived so a bit of a short wait. I unintentionally had booked through a third party (no idea I had) so was a bit confusing with payment.
