I used Black Tie Moving to move my daughter out of her college apartment. We did not utilize their packing services as we were packed and organized, but the move was great. Everything was well communicated, the crew was friendly and efficient, and all ran smoothly.

Communication with the Black Tie team before, during, and after our move was great. The movers were on time, efficient, professional, and friendly. We will definitely use them again in a future move!

All the employees are very respectful and worke super hard to the entire time.

We had Shane, Miles, and Tony and they were such a great crew! They encountered a couple hiccups during the day and took them with stride. Problem solvers, hard workers, and just really nice guys who made the long and tiring process of moving easier on us. Would definitely recommend Black Tie to others. From scheduling to moving they were amazing to work with!

This was a terrible experience.
1. Original quote was $1964. I was charged $2818.
2. They were one & one-half hours late and took one & one-half hours for lunch. I was charged for this.
3. They arrived with no tools, wardrobe or lamp boxes.
4. I was told the move would take five hours; it took eight and one-half hours.
5. I had to supervise the work.
None of my concerns were addressed.

The guys were very nice, worked nonstop until the job was done. They put everything in its place. Great service.

Guys were great, just overlooked a couple small things.

- Actual cost was within ~$100 of estimate/quote
- The guys worked hard, were very nice, respectful and did a great job.
- Left a couple heavy things in inconvenient spots (heavy grill)
- broke a piece of furniture. (entertainment stand)
- Left us 3 blankets, let's coordinate getting them back to you.

The team who came to move us was incredible. They took outstanding care of our belongings and were extremely helpful and friendly. I have moved a lot over the years and this was my best experience with a mover. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was packed extremely well. Guys worked hard and fast. Nice guys did the work.

The moving job was left incomplete, forcing us to transport a large number of items ourselves. The movers packed the truck inefficiently, ran out of space, and left behind major items—including two large TVs, glass tables, and large pictures/mirrors. We had to rent an additional truck the next day and rely on friends to move four carloads of remaining belongings.

At the new home, the movers struggled to bring furniture inside. We had to remove and reinstall couch legs ourselves. Dressers were carried upside down, causing drawers to jam and shift out of place. Several items were only partially moved, such as a desk moved without its drawers and a recliner moved without its power cord.

Because the move was billed hourly, we felt the movers extended the time unnecessarily. A job that should have taken about four hours instead took six—and still wasn’t finished. In 2018, the same items were moved in four hours by two movers.

Although the workers put in physical effort, they lacked the experience needed to pack and transport items properly. Several belongings were damaged, including a bookcase broken in half and scratches on both nightstands.

Incredible team of fast, hard-working, careful movers! We were impressed by how fast they were able to move all of our belongings and the care they took to do it right.

There is damage to a lamp shade and lamp poll. That needs to be deal with, They need to return to reassemble our king size bed that contains storage drawers.

The crew was courteous. They loaded everything in their trucks then unloaded them in my new home. All of my items arrived in one piece.
