These shirts are awesome! The fits beautifully. We used them for band merch, and they're not the typical stiff boxy material. They're soft with a snug neck, short/medium arms, and longer in the torso. When we washed it for the first time it didn't shrink all that much and still fit great. We'll sell them logo'd for $25/shirt and make $10+/shirt. Excellent value for us and for our customers

So sorry to hear the shirts you ordered weren't a great fit! Because everybody is built a little differently and some companies/styles can have small differences, sizing can be tricky at times. That's why we include a sizing chart on every product page and try to call attention to the fact some styles run a bit smaller or are more fitted.
However, sometimes the best way to figure out how well a garment might fit (and to get a feel for the material) is to order a blank sample, which we offer as an option on every product page. If you're ever in doubt, that's definitely the way to go.
