Excellent product. While not intended for air travel, I use mine primarily to transport my C Line and T Line when travelling by plane. Over the past 2 years I’ve taken my Bromptons on more than 20 flights, without damage. Folds small enough to ride with it, using the shoulder strap. When unfolded, the bag’s dimensions remain within the limits of most airline’s standard luggage - no oversize or sports equipment fees. Precautions I take when flying with my Brompton using this bag: completely remove the Brompton’s hinge clamps and stow them in the bag’s inner pocket; protect the frame hinge using bubble wrap / foam; and use a luggage strap to provide baggage handlers with additional places to lift and carry the bag and to help identify which airport carousel the bag has been sent to - from past experience sometimes it arrives on the standard carousel, other times it appears at the oversize luggage.

This is the second Brompton transit bag I have purchased. The new one is a great improvement on the first one. It has a lot more space in it so I was able to put my front bag inside as well as my helmet and clothes etc. it is also much easier to get the bike into as it unzips right to the floor. It is also easy to pull along. I have just taken my bike up to Scotland and back on the train including taking the underground across London. The only downside is the fact the bag cannot be transported on the bile

The bag is great if travelling to a place to stay but for daily travel on the train to sight see on the bike is not good as the bag can't be stored very easily anywhere on the bike. I had to leave it in a locker at the railway station which had charges per hours used...

The travel bag has had it first outing. Newcastle to Wimbledon. It travelled on metro, tube, train, escalators and pavement. It did great. My bike is the electric model so quite heavy to carry. The bag really made the trip a lot easier. Bag design great as space for helmet and lock. Plus more if you want but think total weight. Please provide a user manual sheet for quicker figuring out when using first time. Excellent product.

This is a superb product and pleased to say that it served me well. I took the gamble with checking in the B75 with my clothes for extra padding. From London to Kuala Lumpur (a 12.5 hour flight), the bike arrived unscathed and pristine, even the T-shirts remain as new. Maybe I was lucky that the bag wasn't callously chucked about by baggage handlers in both Heathrow and KLIA. But the unfeasibly large size of the bag was classed as oversized by the check-in counters, so this might catch the attention of some overzealous customs officers who might want to charge you duty for your bike. Beware!
