MPN: Telescopic Seatpost Snap-Fit Black
The plastic sleeve between the two telescopic elements broke during assembly. Although it was replaced without any problems, I still believe that the material quality and durability of this component could be improved. For an otherwise high-quality product, this part unfortunately seems a little too fragile.

The clamp for the telescopic extension is to big and bulky, it rubs against your leg.
IT IS good but this should be Standard
Quality packaging. The whole set is comfortable and not too heavy. I bought it to easily pack my bike into its travel case by removing the saddle in just 3 seconds.

Despite fitted by an accredited Brompton dealer for the third time with a Brompton seat post in 2 years of buying bike ..it slips so every 20 Mins have to readjust and I am only 12 stone !!!! Ridiculous how this gets through factory inspections. - can you not make a seat post that maintains height - my old bmx as a kid was better and 10 percent cost ! Not good

When experiencing seat post slipping, we can best advise to check out the steps in the video below to see if this can be resolved by cleaning and tightening the seatpost clamp:

If the seatpost continues to slip, it is likely the seat post sleeve is worn and requires replacement. This service can be performed at any certified Brompton retailer. You can view a map of all our stores on the link below:
