I love my new watch and it was sent Royal Mail special delivery the very next day. Super efficient service.

Exemplary service, purchase wrapped and delivered with such care.

The item ordered was well priced and delivered quickly. However, the invoice wasn't on headed paper.
When we contacted Burrels by telephone and asked them to provide a letter certifying the original value for insurance purposes we were advised they wouldn't do that but could send it a valuer at a cost of £85, which was disappointing, considering we had just purchased form them at a considerable sum..

Quick and easy

I love my purchase but was very disappointed when i opened it as it was very badly tarnished. Fortunately i have a good cleaning cloth and managed to clean it up. I did take pictures should you wish to see them but over all a good experience on delivery. Maybe suggest you check orders before despatching

Arrived on time, easy process

I would like to thank Siobhan at Burrells for her exceptional customer service. She was efficient, clear, and resolved my request immediately.
I had previously seen a beautiful, expensive piece of jewellery in person at T H Baker (I understand that Burrells is the same company as T H Baker, simply trading online) in Horsham, but unfortunately, every request I made was declined, which left me disappointed. As a matter of principle, I chose not to purchase in store, despite always being happy to support local businesses when the service is right.
I later bought exactly the same item online at a much better price, but made an error with my order and became rather stressed. Siobhan dealt with it straight away, with professionalism and ease, even though the call was interrupted (on my end). She understood exactly what was needed and acted immediately, which is precisely the level of service one expects from a premium jewellery retailer.
As someone who truly appreciates fine jewellery, I would suggest that the owners visit Wakefields nearby, where the service is outstanding. They offer a genuinely welcoming experience, complete with a bar and complimentary drinks, even if you do not make a purchase. You feel valued the moment you walk in, which makes all the difference when buying something as special as expensive jewellery offline.
I have purchased several pieces from TH Baker in Horsham over the years, but I have never felt treated there in the same way. It is disappointing, as I believe they are losing customers. Unless they improve their approach to customer experience, I fear they may continue to do so. I am certainly now a customer of Burrells instead.

I have 4 out of 5 stars, but it’s closer to 5 stars. I imported my watch from the UK, and live in NYC. It was out for delivery the day after purchase, but unfortunately I had to jump through hoops to receive the watch, including had to pay $420 to get the watch out shipping hold. Plus had to fill out some forms and give my SS # to USPS.
