I ordered my sister’s 50th birthday cake and it was absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t praise it enough. We are currently going through a heatwave and i was concerned about keeping the cake at room temp. Upon opening the box i was so pleased to see that the cake box was wrapped in freezer packs. So much care was taken and i am so glad that they considered other factors when delivering the cake to the customer. I will definitely use them again. Cake was lovely and soft. Thank you!!!!❤️❤️

Ordering was easy. Order arrived when it was supposed to. It was also well-packaged to prevent any damage to it while in transit, which I was very impressed by.
The shape was not fully cylindrical. I wasn’t sure why it looked that way, but it was decorated exactly as the one on the website. The cake itself was nice and fluffy.

I ordered a cake for my dad's 90th, it was exactly what I wanted. Soft sponge layers with jam and buttercream a very green fondant icing cricket design name age and happy birthday. The delivery was on time and packaged extremely well considering it was a heatwave. Would use them again excellent 👌

The cake was awful, the packaging was good but the cake was misshapen and lettering was on the edge of the board and all different sizes: the ‘go-kart’ was shocking I can’t see how it was ever supposed to look like one. The customer service so far has been awful: I asked for a refund and am still waiting. I received it on a Thursday (I saw it in returning from work that evening). I has to pack it up again and send it special delivery the next morning and all this cost over £30. They agree to at least cover the cost of shipping and expect it back with 24 hours: they aren’t clear what that exactly means sadly - I wrote back explain my disability and struggle to achieve this but got nothing back so had to ring around and pay for someone to help come with me. Horrible, horrible experience. If you do order with them be there to receive it so you can send it back asap, and unpack it very, very carefully like I did luckily.

I ordered a birthday cake two days before my daughter's birthday. When the cake arrived, it was damaged and completely unacceptable.
I contacted customer service immediately, expecting them to offer a replacement or another solution. Instead, they told me that their next delivery would be four days later, which was after my daughter's birthday, so that wasn't a solution at all.
They then said that if I returned the damaged cake within 24 hours, they would issue a full refund. But how was I supposed to return a cake within 24 hours? A cake isn't like an ordinary item—it requires special handling, and by the time it reached them it would have been completely ruined anyway. They also didn't provide a prepaid return label or any help with arranging the return. Instead, they said that if I didn't return it within 24 hours, they would only refund 20% of the amount I paid.
This is not how you treat customers when your company makes a mistake. I expected them to take responsibility and offer a reasonable solution, but instead I was left with a damaged cake and a very disappointing customer service experience. I would not recommend this company.

I ordered 12 personalised cupcakes for my daughter's 19th birthday after seeing the beautiful photos advertised on Caker Street's website. What arrived looked nothing like the product I had paid almost £77 for.

The cupcakes were poorly presented, the decoration looked rushed, the personalised cakes were completely wrong, and instead of following my request to include "Love Dad" on one cupcake, they put "DAD" on four separate cupcakes, making them look like Father's Day cakes rather than birthday cupcakes for my daughter.

To make matters worse, the quality was nowhere near the standard shown on their website. I was genuinely heartbroken because these were for my daughter's birthday and there was no time to replace them.

When I complained, the first thing they offered was only a 20% refund, despite the cupcakes being completely unacceptable. Only after challenging this did they agree to a full refund if I returned the cupcakes.

I then had to pay £15.95 out of my own pocket to send the unopened cupcakes back by Royal Mail Special Delivery, exactly as they requested. They confirmed they had received the return, confirmed the refund had been approved, then repeatedly emailed saying it was "being processed", then "in the queue", and later asked me to send my bank details again for the postage refund.

Weeks later, I am still chasing them for my money. I have a long chain of emails promising a refund, but I am still waiting. The communication has been extremely poor, and I have spent far more time chasing this than I ever should have had to.

A birthday surprise for my daughter turned into weeks of stress, disappointment and endless emails.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. The product did not match what was advertised, the customer service was poor, and the refund process has been unnecessarily long and frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering personalised cakes or cupcakes to think very carefully before using Caker Street.

Made my order the day before and they came through with it the next day on time and everything was perfect,the cake the delivery the timings all on point.

I ordered a cake for my nan's 100th birthday, the ordering process was very easy with plenty of choices, the cake came on the date specified and was exactly how I ordered it, it was also packaged very well will clear instructions that there was a cake inside. Would definitely use again.

I had my son’s 21st birthday cake delivered yesterday at 6.30pm and it had melted and collapsed in transit. Apparently this isn’t their problem and as per the returns policy I need to post it back within 12 hours (which would have been 6am this morning) despite sending photos. I’m sure when they get it right it’s fine but When they get it wrong they can’t even be bothered to talk to you and admit liability.

In addition there was no confirmation of delivery provided or text message on the days as promised. Even the original request for customisations was ignored.

Please don’t put your trust in this company to provide a cake for your special day.

Super easy to order, great options

I ordered a Disney princess cake for my daughter. I chose it as it had the classic princesses and particularly Aurora who is her favourite and whom the party was themed around. The cake arrived with two duplicate Belle figurines, a Cinderella and random Anna. Not what is described or advertised on the site. Sent an email about it and was told it was my fault for not specifically stating I wanted the princesses advertised in the image. It’s like saying you ordered a Frozen Cake but because you didn’t specifically ask for Elsa we’ve sent you Ariel. Totally ridiculous. Please avoid.
