I have been using one from a friend of mine for many years and then thought it was time I had my own and since getting one I have been very happy with it and glad to have gone and got my own at last.

Good onya for the feedback! Glad to hear the Pro Grinder is hitting the mark for quality and value. It definitely takes a couple of goes to get into the groove, but once you've got the hang of it, it makes a world of difference to the chains.

It is good equipment, dress's chain equally from one side to the other unlike cheaper sharpeners that don't.

Thank you for the fantastic feedback! You’ve hit the nail on the head—one of the biggest frustrations with cheaper sharpeners is an uneven grind, which can cause a chainsaw to cut crooked.

If you need spare discs - just give us a shout.
Good quality for the price. Be sure to read the instructions or view online videos. Important to go easy to start with, know your chain and especially the angles of the grinder. Probably one negative is the angle markings and ability to adjust more precisely could be improved but it's still probably more accurate than a hand sharpen when you get it right. I'd say 4.5/5.

Point taken on the angle markings. We're always looking for ways to sharpen up the gear, so we'll definitely look into how we can make those adjustments a bit more precise for the next run. Glad to hear it's still beating the old hand-file for accuracy though! 🎯

We're glad you’re finding the Pro Grinder handy. There is nothing like the speed and precision of a 240v sharpener to get those chains back to a factory edge in no time.
Great product and works well. If it came with a stand to put into a vice it would be even better. I made one up myself and it work perfectly.

The base broke after two weeks, the thread wore out. I pulled it apart and rebuilt it myself. The chain position adjustment is sloppy. Typical Chinese garbage. You pay for what you get.
