Great appliance for the older generation as they don’t like touch controls. This one has physical controls

At the moment all is well. A vast imrovent from the IKEA hob mother had, which threw a craze when any water was on the surface and occaisionally continually locked out also, needing unlocked each time it was started. this one responds to the single on off touch switch instantly every time, even when wet. The rings all work well, no matter how much water is boiled /dripped over. As long as this simple, easy to use hob keeps working, then great. Really good value.

Looks OK and heats quickly. A bit awkward to use. I chose this model for the rotary controls ... so was annoyed to find that power on/off is via a touch control. Knobs are also a bit awkward to use (don't rotate 360 degrees and don't heat at all if between settings e.g. 4.5).

I've used induction hobs in the past and been driven crazy with the +/- push button controls. This one has knobs and is as simple to operate as a gas hob. I debated for a long time whether or not to buy because the black glass is vulnerable to scratching. I've bought a set of hob protectors from Lakeland and now it's great to use. Very quick to heat up and can be turned as low as you want. Very happy with this
