We had an enjoyable trip on the MSC Lirica. The spa staff was excellent, and our room steward was both friendly and helpful. Boarding and disembarkation were smooth and efficient. However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short of a perfect score. The food was good but not exceptional. We would have appreciated more salad options. We dined in the main restaurant several times, and unfortunately, our waiter often seemed annoyed by our presence. When we ordered additional items, his frustration was quite noticeable. The pools and jacuzzi closed too early each day, and we often felt like we were being rushed out of our relaxation spots, even though the ship wasn't moving for several hours. The ship itself appeared a little worn down, but this didn’t significantly affect our overall enjoyment. However, the windows in the restaurants and buffet areas were covered in salt and never cleaned, which made it difficult to enjoy the views. Additionally, there weren't enough jacuzzi options, and the shuttles were overpriced and slow to load. We ended up taking a taxi, which was much more affordable and faster. Overall, while there were some drawbacks, we still had a pleasant trip.
It is very good service and exciting as well as nice entertainment. Thank you for your daily program and everything.
Pros: Room is better than I thought, the staff were helpful. Cons: The embarkation procedure is chaotic, and when many people don’t know what to do next when boarding the ship. And the food was too salty.
