It seemed that the number of crew members was somewhat insufficient compared to the number of passengers. While the change in itinerary was understandable, the preparation and response to it appeared to be inadequate.

It’s my first to be cruising in MSC OPERA and I got got impressions all of the staff are so kind and accommodating . We use MSC twice already and really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. Lots of fun and entertainment for everyone. Foods are good.
Great itierary and greater service on board. Cabins were cleaned everyday and Anthony the one in charge was permanently pending on every detail. All staff is well trained and they are there to help you. I left my cel phone on a table for a minute....and when I came back it was already sent to Lost&found. Dinner at La Carabella was amazing too. Mr Assef is a Master at keeping the pace, and Candy is an excellent waitress, sweet and professional. I hope they are all well rewarded as everyone can see they work very hard in order to supply the best service
Great for children in terms having a great kids club and splash pad. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the ship. The Ship was pretty tight, as if they filled every room. During rush meal hours, it was hard to find a seat and they could not keep up with cleaning the tables off. There were hidden gratuity charges that showed up. Food was nothing special but it beat cooking. Had some days with dried (overcooked) chicken and pork. Kind of bummed the ice cream bar closed at 1800, being I had a child with us. The room were cleaned daily. I had to fix get the fridge cabinet door, shower nozzle holder, and bed fixed. The casino was very small. The one show I attended was good but if you didn’t get to the theater early, you wouldn’t get a seat because of how packed the ship was. All in all, it was a great cruise but I did hear many complaints from people about various topics. I would sail MSC again, but not on the Opera.
