The ship is an older ship but in good condition. The bed and room were comfortable. The carpet showed signs of extreme use and should have been changed except the ship is being sold in September '26 (according to the crew info). The TV had at least 15 channels devoted to purchasing ship's tours, jewelry, apparel or other NCL items. The few remaining channels continuously showed the same movies over and over again! Not fun for a 12 night cruise. The theater was OK but the shows--again, abominable! One night four off key singers; another night a "hypnotist"; another night a magician. The only "act" was the female comedian. We went to all the shows and were even disappointed with the Not So Newlywed Game which we've enjoyed on other ships in our 36 cruises. The pool and hot tubs were great as was the lack of smoking on the decks. Smoking in the casino prevented us from spending our money there. Food: The most boring menus we've ever seen (and that includes a 3 day cruise on the Margaritaville Paradise). Every night the cheapest foods (such as pasta) was served differently. The steaks were a cheap cut of meat as were the other boring / tasteless dishes. The breakfast buffet was just as bad. Pancakes that were hard as a rock; biscuits that needed a steak knife to cut; Kellog's cereal and milk were good. Coffee--the worst. Bagels made Lenders seem as gourmet. The only good place to eat anything that was good was in the back of the ship where the burgers were great. Service was exceptional by all the staff -- in the dining room; buffet or cabin. My next cruise will definitely be on Royal Caribbean or Princess.
