Original cruise planned 2 Greenland ports. Due to NCL change after purchase, 1 port. Then that 1 port was cancelled due to bad weather...and weather also cancelled Shetland Island port. No plan B other than stay on ship and "buy NCL stuff". Also, time in every port was very limited. ARG! The food was bland and the ship was crowded, especially crowded and cramped in the main "buffet style" cafe. We did really enjoy seeing Prince Christian Fjord (beautiful), and the ports we did see, plus the onboard entertainment and NASA talks were great, but could not see any Aurora's because on clear nights, even on a dark and empty ocean, the ships lights were always on full force. We found many excursions cheaper via Cruise Direct or other sources rather than NCL, but the one NCL tour we did take was great (Whale, fish, and dish). The desserts were very good, and our room was nice and kept very clean. This NCL cruise was so very different than the NCL Hawaii cruise we had taken a few years prior....like night and day different regarding food and drink packages and excursions and general organization, ect...we were rather disappointed given the promise that it held initially and feel that the value for our money on this cruise was just not there.
