Stateroom change to a very bad cabin. Very noisy and busy on the floor. We are disappointed and will probably never cruise with cunard again

The ship is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff was truly outstanding—polite, attentive, and consistently focused on guests’ needs. I was disappointed, however, to witness upper management speaking disrespectfully to dining room staff in the Lido buffet area in front of guests. Even if the concern was valid, addressing it publicly felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Overall, the food was particularly good. That said, the buffet items were often only lukewarm, and some meal options felt repetitive. The main dining room food was delicious, and the bakery staff was exceptional. The nightly entertainment was also fabulous. Our Alaska cruise had a quiet, refined atmosphere, which we really appreciated. We also never felt pressured to purchase extras such as photos, drinks, or souvenirs. Most of the ports were enjoyable, with the exception of Icy Strait Point. Unless you had an excursion planned or were riding the zipline, there seemed to be very little to do in town. Embarkation and disembarkation were both exceptionally smooth and well organized. Overall, I would definitely sail with Cunard again.

Food very hit and miss and can be very slow service in the restaurant. No service at all at the buffet. Got sick of looking for cutlery. Need to watch the time (which to me defeats the purpose of a holiday) as the buffet closes between all meals. Ice cream machine is closed at 2.30pm so is closed more than it is open. Nightly entertainment was mainly good. On a 21 night cruise we saw the cruise director twice standing outside the theatre and she did a little speel each night after the evening show. Definitely not what other cruise lines would call a cruise director. The staff that look after the rooms are excellent. Cunard tries to be posh but fails. Very old clientele so if you are looking for a lively/entertaining cruise don’t pick the Queen Elizabeth.

The cruise ship itself looks elegant and classic, likely because she recently underwent a complete renovation. However, as she is not a new ship, you might notice some dusty spots on your balcony or the ship's exterior. On Deck 2, where Café Carinthia is located, the windows are cloudy and dirty. But all in all, they did a good job
