Everything looks good, but I will admit it. Only buy it just over two weeks. I have not used it yet so I haven’t had time with been on holiday so I’m unable to really give a proper review but I’m looking forward to using it.

Amazing product
This is my personal review after using the DJI Osmo 8 on a recent trip. My experience might not relate to everyone, but I want to share honestly what happened during my use. 🔋 Battery Performance The first thing I noticed was the battery draining much faster than advertised. In about 1 hour and a half, the battery was almost completely drained and this was during a normal, mostly static recording program. I wasn’t doing anything extreme, no heavy tracking or complicated movement. For travel use, I expected it to last much longer. This was honestly disappointing because battery life is very important when you're out all day filming. 🎯 Focus & Tracking Issues After some time using it, I started noticing focus problems. The focus would suddenly get lost. It would randomly shift to the side. Sometimes it would stop tracking and just turn away. As a professional DJ, I tried using it in a club environment to record promotional content. Instead of focusing on a person, it would start focusing on: Smoke from the machine Bright lights Background effects It struggled to keep a stable lock on the subject. Even in normal lighting conditions during the trip, after a while it would lose focus and rotate unexpectedly. ⚙️ Calibration & Troubleshooting I tried: Recalibrating the gimbal Restarting the device Rebalancing the phone Checking the app settings Unfortunately, nothing seemed to solve the issue consistently. After some time, it would again lose tracking, shift position, or stop behaving properly. 📉 Overall Impression For me, overall, it did not work the way it’s described on the website. I expected smoother performance, reliable tracking, and better battery life. Maybe others have had better experiences, but in my case, it didn’t perform as expected — especially in professional situations where reliability is crucial. ⭐ Final Thoughts This is just my personal experience, and it might not reflect everyone’s results. But based on my trip and professional use, I found: Battery life below expectations Inconsistent tracking and focus Random movement and stopping I really wanted it to work well because the design and idea are great. Unfortunately, in real-world use, it didn’t deliver the performance I needed.

Bought this while on vacation in London for wife’s birthday. Salesman Zee explained everything very well, so it was no thought process needed we bought it an absolutely love it
the Gimbal is a great piece of kit and very adaptable with the pull out base tripod and having the ability to extend the hight is definitely a bonus. The instructions are easy to follow and I have had a great deal of pleasure using the tracking facility. An excellent product and very good value for money.
