I recently booked a fishing trip through Catch and chose Commonwood Fishery, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Commonwood Fishery is a beautiful, well-maintained venue with excellent facilities and plenty of space around the pegs. The lakes are stocked well, the surroundings are peaceful, and it's a great place to relax while enjoying some quality fishing. Whether you're looking for a productive day's angling or simply a chance to unwind outdoors, Commonwood delivers. The atmosphere around the fishery was welcoming, and everyone we met was friendly and respectful. The fish were in great condition, and there was plenty of action throughout the day, making it enjoyable for both experienced anglers and beginners alike. Tips for First-Time Visitors 🎣 Arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to find your peg, set up, and get familiar with the lake. 🎣 Check the fishery rules before you go to ensure you have the correct tackle, bait, and landing equipment. 🎣 Pack for the weather. Even on a warm day, a waterproof jacket and appropriate clothing can make a big difference. 🎣 Landing nets and unhooking mats are provided so don't bring your own. 🎣 Be patient and observe the water before casting. Watching for signs of fish activity can really improve your chances. 🎣 Don't be afraid to ask for advice. The staff and regular anglers are friendly and often happy to share tips about what is working well. Overall, choosing Catch and visiting Commonwood Fishery was an excellent decision. The venue is superb, the fishing is enjoyable, and the whole experience offers great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality day's fishing. What a venue/ complex Commonwood is, it is immaculate, brilliant fishery, excellent head of fish and great support and advice from Tony, probably the most helpful fishery manager I’ve met. Fished Lewellyn for 72hrs and had a great head of fish, 30lb 27lb 26lb 5 mid 20’s and 2 low 20’s. Loved it, can’t wait to get back on. Peter.

First session on Weston, good day's fishing. Easy process booking on and finding our lake/pegs etc. Deffo going back soon, those carp were pulling good 🎣🎣 fish caught between 9lb and 14lb.

After my first experience my initial thoughts were confirmed, what a place!! Fishing is great, the staff that I met are friendly and helpful. If there is one negative, the location of the fish cradle and landing net that you are required to use is not ideal in the torrential rain that was on the day!! The grass becomes slippery and problematic when carrying a big fish to and from. That said, brill site look forward to trying again and again
