It was cold, wet but very enjoyable... the staff are great, willing to share tips and knowledge and everyone I met on the bank was friendly and again happy to share their experience of the water .. ... bonus I had a fish as well and am returning later this week...

Gwinear has got to be the best fishery in Cornwall. With the chance of catches numerous 30lb+ carp in gorgeous surroundings, I'd definitely recommend it to everyone

Great venue with a lovely stock of fish, but unfortunately feel they need to vet the people they are letting on the lake, on the last night of my trip “18/07/25” three anglers/lads on a camping trip turned up with loads of beer and disposable barbecues and one net between them, they was messing about all night shouting, to the point where people on the caravan park told them to shut up at 2 o’clock in the morning!! …… I would also point out I fished for three days and never once did anybody come round to check the lake!!

Spent three nights had a couple of nice carp stunning place clean grass is kept to a premium even had a flushing toilet and the tackle shop had everything you would need

Staff are very helpful always there to give advice and help the shop is stocked with everything u need and more toilets are clean and swims are amazing there are some cracking fish in this lake ive just done 4 day sesh and had 8 fish biggest was 26lb
