Lake was about 1ft deep all way round. Have to book a designated swim and cant move. Shop closes for 3 hours during the hottest hours of the day. Was a day I will never get back and wasted my time. Never going back. Don't go👍 unless you just want to catch carp after carp which isn't us. Can't put bank sticks in for some reason was told nobody uses them anymore. Which sais it's just set up for carp angling which hey I dont mind but there are other species available in the UK

Good facilities, parking and toilets. Only possible negatives, Not allowed in until 08:00am, was a time when you could go in at 07:00am. Shop has limited opening hours, closes at 10:00am One way system to exit onto the A507 can be difficult during rush hour.

Maybe I'm getting old but £25 for a day ticket seems abit expensive to me to fish anywhere

Fish were spawning so no chance of catching a fish. If I had caught any they would have been foul hooked which is unkind to the fish. To avoid disappointment for anglers a suggestion would be to close the lake whilst the fish are spawning. I feel that this was a waster of time and money.

From booking to leaving I had the best fishing trip here. Parked up and made my way to my swim through a coded gate so it’s very safe and secure. The grounds were immaculate, very clean facilities, bins provided, the lake was very well kept and stocked. I stayed for two nights and three days and it was great value for money. Definitely going again and definitely recommend. Thank you Henlow bridge lakes for my stay.

Henlow Bridge Lakes is a family run business, with camping site, two larger 'lakes' and two smaller, snake, waters. I would like the water to be a deeper (1m) and clearer. I would like to see few sand patches near swims and if possible, sheltered from waves on the surface, that would be ideal float fishing conditions for many species of silver fish. Other than that it is a very nice place for fishing. Be carefull of the swans, geese and ducks, they like any bait, especially in shallow water.
