US Wellness Meats’ Beef Tallow (sometimes known as lard) uses a propriety blend of rendered beef suet and beef fats. It is naturally pure white to light yellow in color and has omega 6:3 ratios which are similar to fish.
When comparing fats for cooking and consumption, remember; all fats are not created equal. Conjugated Linoleic Acid or (CLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid (naturally occurring trans fat) found primarily in Beef and Dairy. Studies have shown these fats may provide a whole host of health benefits. These are very different from the trans fats found in manufactured hydrogenated vegetable oils which have been linked to inflammation and obesity.

I'm over all happy. Price of course is a little ouchie, but such is the case with procuring clean healthy products these days if you don't want to be a slave to the mainstream hoax diets pushed by the people that want to depopulate the earth. I spend less doing this than I would if I had to see drs. constantly on the mainstream commercial diet items they have pushed on us for decades now. So no major gripe and will buy again. French fries taste way better in tallow. Say no to seed oils!

The tallow was made from the trimmings not the hard suet. I've tried rendering it over 5 times to get it a little harder and to lighten the beefy smell. No luck. Couple have asked if the tallow was rancid. Very sad that this isn't working for my intended purpose (making whipped tallow).
