Cooking in the crockpot all day creates a fork tender dinner meal with an appealing aroma that will require a second helping. US Wellness Meats’ free range chickens are raised on pasture with a salad bar of grasses, legumes, and insects. The limited amount of grain US Wellness Meats’ free range chickens consume is Non-GMO. They are also antibiotic and hormone free. Once you experience the flavor of US Wellness Meats’ outdoor birds, you will never want to eat commercial birds again. Each Whole Chicken averages 4 pounds, but can weigh 3.75 - 4.25 pounds and does not contain giblets. All US Wellness Poultry are pasture-raised, non-gmo, antibiotic and no added hormones.

Everything arrived fully frozen and expertly packed. This was my first order of 100% pasture raised chickens with no GMO in feed and just like my moms chicken’s eggs, when a chicken is raised without the industrial farming standards, you can seriously taste the difference! First thing I did when I got the whole chicken was break it down into portions to vacuum seal and freeze, then I made my normal chicken soup (from scratch) using the leftover chicken backbone (leaving some meat) and other “scraps”. The FLAVOR OF THE BROTH WAS OUTRAGEOUSLY RICH. I will never go back to store bought non-organic chicken again, that stuff is awful in comparison.
