It is an original hk part. It is supposed to be better than other aftermarket ones. Also it is a high wear part. I purchased it for my maintenance/service kit. I try to use original hk parts for high wear items. There can be no doubt that original hk parts are the gold standard. You just have to be willing to pay for it.

Swapped out in my ap5-p clone after researching the most common failure to feed and failure to fire complaints with clones. When comparing the clone design to the hk design, there are obvious differences. Happy to report that after swapping out, I ran 120 rnds at the range without a single issue. Smooth. Very pleased .
