With the Heljan model please ensure the directional lights are functioning correctly prior to decoder installation. We have found some models where bulbs are creating a `short` which can cause damage to the decoder. Below is a list of the Function keys and their assignments applicable to this model. F0. Lights on/off (if fitted) F1. Sound on/off F2. Horn 1 Double F3. Horn 2 Single F4. Buffering up F5. Coupling up F6. Buffer clash on wagons F7. Flange squeal, continuous until function key is re-pressed F8. Guards whistle F9. Carriage door slam F10. Track/sleeper ‘groan’ F11. Shunting mode, Press once and the loco goes slowly press it again and you are back to normal control. F12. Acceleration/Deceleration over ride. Press once to over-ride, press again to return to preset settings. F13. Aux 1 F14. Aux 2
