Fantastic pack, I’ve done some long runs with it, some fastpacking, and it’s just perfect. Doesn’t bounce, doesn’t chafe, will fit absolutely everything. I really like that the bladder compartment is spacious so it’s very easy to put in a large bladder. Great product

Bought to replace damaged running pack for the spine race. Thought I would try it before reviewing it. Now completed some sixty miles with full spine race kit. I have to say, it is very good, the only problem is running at a fast pace for me, under 9 min miles, it tends to bounce up and down a bit. Loads of storage space and relatively easy to access. Great bag. Thanks to the Staveley staff for been so helpful.

Perfect pack for ultra runners or middle distance it carries everything you need and even when not full fits really snug and comfortable I’m a size 10 I bought a size small I wear on long hikes and for running trails

The hydration vest is spacious, yet it fits the back well. It doesn’t bounce while running, even when carrying cycling shoes. Very breathable, even in hot weather. Plenty of pockets to organize your gear. The front fastening could be more user-friendly — a bit tricky at first.

Unfortunately I had to return this vest because of two of its major design flaws. It's the bungee sternum mechanism. It's simply too short so even with the largest size vest and the bungee on its longest setting, the vest can't be worn comfortably. Also, the bungee cord is permanently fixed on one side. There should be a daisy chain on each side and not just one, with the option of replacing the bungee cord. There should also be another size XL or maybe even XXL. I'm a regular guy, neither fat nor with a huge chest, and yet the size L is too small for me. Otherwise the vest has the best pocket layout I've seen so far. Looks great, it's functional and the materials are great too. But what's the point of that if you can't wear it?

Lovely pac however front fastening is so tricky to see and find the loops to hook it on. Removing the pac is equally as tricky...combination of eye sight and mild arthritis in my hands...as a result takes longer when you need to remove the pac to get to something inside like a rain 🌧 coat.

I have been using another well known product but decided to give this a try since I saw them in their Staveley Store. I was very impressed with the it. The build quality feels better than I was expecting. Sadly it is too small for us larger chaps and it’s a large. I am hoping that they will produce size XL for us non pro runners one day as I am really impressed with it’s build quality.

Overall, well built, great storage and accessibility, and nothing sloshing around. Lost a star because I used it on a trial 13.1mi (21k) in a lightweight tshirt and shorts when it was 50°F (10°C) and breezy. It ran a little warm despite what appears to be well vented construction. Soft flask are slightly difficult to put in if you have phone and other stuff stashed up front, but pleased overall. I will definitely continue to use it on longer runs up while training for a 200 miler in fall of 2025. Great value for the money overall.

Having tried two other hydration vests and being subjected to significant friction sores, I wasn’t sure if anything was going to work. Imagine then my surprise that on the inaugural outing of 27miles with 3,500ft of climb in the rugged terrain of the Pennines, I returned completely sore-free. Within 3 miles of setting off the pac genuinely felt like it had moulded itself around my body and basically just stayed there for the following 24. The pockets allowed easy access to all my nutrition and carrying my 1.5lt bladder and 2x 450ml soft flasks was easy. I can’t rate this pack highly enough and I’m already looking forward to this coming weekend’s adventures.

Ticks all the boxes for Cape Wrath Ultra - on paper, to be tested in May 24. Good main storage with a number of other large pockets for food and accessories, including expandable outer pocket on rear. Can take 750ml hard flasks or 500ml soft flasks in front pockets, plus bladder in rear (separate from main compartment). Like the vertical pole attachment.
