Light weight, packs small, waterproof, allows free movement. That's all I needed in a jacket. The sunny yellow is a nice pick-me-up colour in the pouring rain and miserable drizzle. I value the use of recycled materials in the products I use. I had and loved the previous version too.

Used for 13 miles in the low level Lake District Fells in full on rain and wind gusts >40mph. The storm shell v2 performed really well in terms of rain protection, fit aligned with activity and breathability. I would like to see a slightly lower placement of the hood cord and a hood sleeve for the excess hood cord which flaps around like a kite in the wind. Love the light blue colour.

This just works and like anything that is any good you forget you are wearing it. Chose the black in a large and I’m comfortable wearing it and happy. I am 5’11” and 92 kgs, 41” chest so it’s not tight and allows for layering.
