Waterproofness seems to be good, yet to try them in heavy rain and snow. The wrist loops are terribly small, so do not function as stated. Pleased I purchased them for trail running.

Very good. Keeps hands warm and dry but not over hot. Packs down small for storage if you get warmer.

Great mitts, but the only issue is they don't have wrist loops which are essential in mountainous/windy conditions so that they remain secure when removed, fingers needed to access rucksack/navigation etc. It's a shame as the previous model had loops?, seems a design reverse?

This is exactly what I was looking for and the price is right. I have taken them out for several trail runs where the temp has been between 15 and 35 degrees Fahrenheit. The gloves are very warm and I've taken them off after a mile on all occasions. I bought the larger size so they'll go over a liner glove (which I haven't tried yet). If you're walking around under 40* then these are awesome. I admit I haven't had them in a downpour, and I don't know how they'll hold-up so we'll see I guess but so far so good.
