The item you selected was our illustration option, which is a hand-drawn digital outline based on your photo. This differs from our photo engraving option, which directly etches the details of a photograph onto the jewellery. We understand how this might not have been what you were expecting, and we do our best to describe the differences on our website to help guide the selection process.
