A good kit for the price as it was in the sale. Packaging was poor though, just in a plastic bag with no cardboard to help protect the kit.

In 1625, while Sweden was busy building an empire around the Baltic Sea, the Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus ordered new warships. Among them was the Wasa. On its maiden voyage in 1628, the Wasa set sail and fired a salute. But only after a few minutes of sailing the ship began to heel over. She righted herself slightly - and heeled over again and, to everyones horror and disbelief, the glorious and mighty warship suddenly sank.

Considering the scale very short on detail. No stairwells between decks,no oars for the lifeboat etc. The sprues aren't great with alot of flash. I know its an old model but quality control is sadly lacking. I have researched the vasa museum for detailing in painting and it is completely different than on the box. Not Jadlams fault but a heads up for anyone thinking of buying. Overall quite good value when you consider the cost of heller or revill 1/100 scale.
