The controller works well, providing smooth control for a range of ancient and modern 00 and 009 locos. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the control knob getting damaged resulting in a dent in the fascia of the knob. This is not caused by a delivery issue as both the transit carton and the product carton show no signs of damage and the knob is protected by a bag and cardboard packing piece. I purchased two controllers affected in this way and also had the same problem with a replacement. Also one of the power supplies had a hairline crack in the casing. Jadlam organised replacement knobs for me and the issue is now resolved.

It's helped last one refurbished but still life in it to test motive power backlights 3rd on the layout.
