These devices are excellent. They are very easy to install and operate on DCC voltage. They add a touch of realism to my rail layout. When operating they give an indication if the track is conductive and when not illuminated indicate that there is a problem with the connectivity of the track. I therefore use this item as a fault finding device as well as there intended purpose.
