Worst company ever! Avoid them!

I had a lease car with Kinto for 3 years. Everything went well until the end on of my contract. Before the inspection day, I went to a professional garage to make sure the car was intact. The car was inspected and I had a confirmation that everything was in good condition. I washed the car, I even put £10 petrol in the car. Surprisingly , the guy who came to inspect the car, mentioned stupid damage on the car that I had no clue about, he said the car was not up to the standard 🙄 . I never done a repair for the past 3 years on the car but he kept talking about poor repair to different places, I was so shocked about the lie. Then few days later I received a huge bill of £800 for poor repair and damage. I've sent an email to Kinto to complain about that but still haven't received a reply from them. I'm sorry to say this but Kinto is a Thief company.
Avoid them!

BE WARNED!!

i see a 10/10 review earlier this year wondering why the low scores,,,,, you've only been with them 6 months wait till you come to the end of the contract and get hammered for about £1500 for minor dints. and that's happened twice in the past few weeks.

we will never use them ever again as its obviously a scam they are carrying out.

Rubbish company to deal with

Rubbish company to deal with. Take all of your information and will not cancel your membership. So what do they do with all of your private information. Better to go through an established car rental company that does not want so much information. Do dot use if you want to protect your personal details.

Incompetence beyond belief

Incompetence beyond belief! If i could give zero i would! I will never lease another car through them again. They send invoices for a car even when it has been sent back and 3 months later I am still receiving invoices from their credit control dept for car tax even though their Customer Service dept have confirmed I owe nothing and assured me weeks ago that I wouldn’t receive any further invoices for a car I don’t have. Numerous emails sent which they fail to answer. The whole experience is shockingly bad🤦🏼‍♀️

Poor service and incorrect financial information given

I had a car on a 3 year lease, due to end in September, which I terminated 3 months early. My dealings with Kinto may have gone smoothly had the lease run it's course! Bungled collection attempts and 4 months to sort out the balance of the account. They take weeks to respond to emails, lose payments and the price they quote you to end your contract is incorrect. I would not use this company again. Very stressful.

No surprise

No surprise. One star is the main theme. Would be zero were that possible. Amazingly, I did actually receive an email from Kinto within a couple of minutes of asking! However, that was in order to supply me with their account details to make a final payment. My earlier emails relating to a dispute have not been met with even the courtesy of a reply. Stay away!

Incompetance beyond belief

Paid my down payment for a lease car, which they couldn't locate for 8 days! When they finally located it, it then took a further 8 days to tell the dealership that it was ok to deliver the car. Bang on three weeks later and £240 of taxi fares, I finally take delivery of the car(with minor damage!!!)

Free car

Well, where do I start, we had the lease vehicle for three months, we then found out the brand new car that we had been driving for three months was unregistered, untaxed. Etc, now we have had the car six months, they haven’t took a penny( money). I’ve tried to inform a person this week about the payments, they come back with what’s your reg number, and what’s the problem. Just look me up on your computer, I’m on there, the money is here if you want it, I’m not calling or emailing no more . It’s your problem 🙄

I note a number of complaints online about this company continuing to bill after the contract has expired and vehicles have been returned, my experience has been to suffer this for over 1 year now , these idi🤡ts will wreck your credit rating if you do not act as follows ! I raised a SUBJECT ACCESS REQUEST and behold all their incompetence was there in full view i have now taken my complaint to the FCA and still they attempt to claim thousands of pounds i have resorted to replying to their communications now with the emoji 🤡.....Nuff said ...KINT🤡

The worst company to have come to Australia. This company you know is run by a seriously shady greedy person/persons. Toyota made a big mistake affiliating themselves with a company like. Dear readers make sure to never ever go with this company if its the last one left.

Outstanding Support by Jasmin at Kinto Share

This review is for the Danish part of Kinto Share:
I had the pleasure of experiencing Kinto Share's customer service on August 5th, 2024, and even now, two weeks later, I can't stop thinking about how positive the entire interaction was. From the moment I got on the phone, I could tell this was going to be different from the usual support calls.

The representative I spoke with, Jasmin from Customer Service, had such a calm, steady tone, and it was clear that she was genuinely listening to me. So often, customer support can feel rushed, like they’re just trying to tick a box or hit a KPI, but not this time. Jasmin took the time to understand my issue, and I never once felt like I was being hurried along.

What impressed me the most was how she handled my problem on the spot. There were no excuses, no "I'll get back to you," or "This isn't my area." She was focused on finding a solution then and there, which she did seamlessly.

But what truly blew me away was the follow-up. Jasmin sent a detailed message to ensure we were both on the same page and to confirm that the issue was fully resolved. This kind of thoroughness meant we didn’t have to keep the ticket open, which saved both of us time and hassle.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Kinto Share based on this experience. It’s rare to find such a high level of care and efficiency in customer service these days, and it made a lasting impression on me. If you're considering using Kinto Share, I strongly encourage you to do so. Their service is top-notch!

If I could give more I would!
From day 1 have been nothing but amazing service from the team at the call centre!
Have provided great cars & fixed any mishaps
I even got a complimentary charger from Shane at Toyota , I don’t know why there are so many low reviews I’ve used these guys for 6months plus in QLD & NSW no drama!

Quick efficient & helpful

I think they love me too hehe I’m a regular
Keep up the great work & thank you for all the wonderful discounts I’ve received

sham company

sham company, I wonder whether they are some sort of a scam as they don't answer emails. when you call them , if you are lucky to get through, the staff on the other side sound exasperated
Leased a car (NHS) and kinto delivered a car that could not be driven at night, which is brilliant if you are an NHS worker who does shifts! ...multiple complaints later and after 9 months something got done....I have complained about poor service and since then they have been sleeping!

Is this for reel!

Great customer service. They lie and cheet you out of Xtra charges. Dropped of my car whith full tank of gass and got charged 150 for low fuel. Asked were they got there info from and they said the photo I took. Well I never took a photo. The photo they had was cropped and couldn't see fuel level and the computer never read my fuel level because it never worked. Sorry for me being stupid you should keep better records they basically told me. 0 stars

Every time you speak to someone at…

Every time you speak to someone at kinto they sound like they don't want to be there. From my experience the only people they care less about then their customers are their staff. They'll lie and if you believe what they say they don't employ any managers because there's never one available to deal with issues. I don't have any choice about using kinto because it's a work car but don't use them if you can avoid it

Worst Leasing company

My company car is with Kinto and my experience over the last 7 yrs is nothing more than horrific!

Either you can never reach them even in emergency and if by luck, you reach out to them they have an awful response. In an emergency, I was left with wait for over 8 hours and non emergency repairs takes months (not days or weeks!).

They constantly lie you on timelines and on updates.

Pls avoid this company.

My son in law leased a car via…

My son in law leased a car via Rivervale leasing
who in turn dealt with Kinto .
An accident ( accepted by pushbike company insurance ) all agreed but for a simple letter from car owners - kinto who can’t seem to to do this for absolutely no reason ( and when it comes to cars back they will want in A1 condition.
No Logic ? As it causes them no problem in fact resolves one .
Have to fall on my sword Kinto did assist my son in law today

BEWARE

BEWARE - I’ve bought and owned 10 brand new Toyota’s in the last 6 years and have hired cars in every state in the country. Kinto won’t approve me or my wife to hire vehicles from them. We meet all the guidelines as our age/credit history/insurance history/driving record/license history are all perfect. We have no blemishes whatsoever in any fields that Kinto can make us aware of. Be careful and mindful with this company before you hand out your personal details. The best hire car companies are extremely well known and are trustworthy when hiring such an expensive asset. PLEASE BEWARE

Kinto stole my money

Had a lease car from Kinto threough my company, Paid upfront to reduce my lease to only 3 years instead of 4.
They refused to replace my car until it was in the 5th year, 15 months after the end date... and refused to return the money I paid upfront to ensure it was only 3 years.
They stole over £1000 off me.
