Patrick Danielle was very unprofessional. Showed up under the influence after canceling 3 times. Littered in my yard didn't even cut my grass . Most unprofessional company experience would not recommend.
Very convenient, they make sure you have someone scheduled and let you know if anything is changing. Quotes seem fair and paying is easy. When I called to talk to customer care when I moved to a new state they were very polite and answered all my questions. The app is very easy to navigate and so far I would recommend it to everyone who like a convenient way to get thing around their yard done

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the customer service I received from the representatives at LawnStarter regarding the service performed at my property on **July 9, 2026**.
While I appreciate that my lawn was cut, the condition in which my property was left afterward is completely unacceptable. After the mowing was completed, there were grass and mulch clippings scattered throughout my entire front yard. The amount of debris left behind is excessive. Simply walking across my front yard results in grass clippings being tracked back into my home, creating an unnecessary mess that I now have to clean up myself. This is not the level of service I expected when paying for professional lawn care.
When I contacted LawnStarter to explain the issue, I was shocked by the response I received from your customer service representative. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or offering a reasonable solution, I was informed that it would require an **additional charge** to have someone return and clean up the clippings left behind by your crew.
I honestly could not believe what I was hearing. How is it reasonable to expect a customer to pay extra to have a mess cleaned up that was created by the company providing the service? That makes absolutely no sense. A professional lawn service should leave a property looking clean and well-maintained, not create additional work for the customer and then attempt to charge even more to correct it. At no point was I informed that proper cleanup would be considered an additional service, and even if I had been, I would never agree to pay extra for someone to clean up after work they themselves created.
To ensure there is no misunderstanding regarding the condition of my yard, **I have included photographs** that clearly show the amount of grass and mulch clippings left throughout my front lawn. These photos accurately reflect the condition of my property immediately following the service.
What has disappointed me even more than the poor workmanship is the lack of concern shown by your customer service team. Instead of demonstrating accountability or attempting to resolve the issue, I felt as though my concerns were dismissed and I was simply presented with another bill. That is not how customers should be treated.
At this point, I am extremely dissatisfied with both the quality of the lawn service and the customer support I received afterward. Unless this matter is addressed appropriately, I intend to file a formal complaint with the **Better Business Bureau (BBB)** and share my experience on every consumer review platform available, including Google, social media, and other review websites. I believe other potential customers deserve to know about the quality of service and customer support I experienced.
I sincerely hope LawnStarter takes this complaint seriously and chooses to resolve this matter appropriately. I expect a response that reflects accountability and a commitment to customer satisfaction, because the service I received on July 9, 2026, fell well below any reasonable standard of professional lawn care.
They asked if I still wanted service when my front yard still looked good and when I told them I just needed the backyard done, they got to work and made it look amazing.
Randy took care of my yard like it was his own. Matter of fact he did a better job then I ever did… and that’s no lie.

I’m not exactly sure how LawnStarter found me, but their introductory discounted rate convinced me to give them a try—and so far, so good!
I signed up my rental properties first because the pricing was very reasonable. Even without the discount, I think their regular rates are affordable. I was so pleased with the service that I also added my elderly grandmother’s house, so she doesn’t have to worry about finding someone to take care of her yard. Of course, I signed up my own home as well.
The customer service team has been friendly, responsive, and easy to reach. The lawn crews have been professional, courteous, and focused on getting the job done.
My only complaint is that your yard needs to be completely picked up before they arrive. For example, if you leave a bucket or other items in the yard, they won’t mow or weed-eat around them. That’s understandable from a liability standpoint, but it’s something to keep in mind.
Overall, after several rounds of service at all of my properties, I’ve been very happy with LawnStarter and would recommend giving them a try.
Great customer service. People show up when scheduled or communicate the change. Work done is fantastic. Yard looks wonderful and neat.

My experience was simple and easy to use the app. Brad the lawn pro suggested that the lawn be mowed once a week during the summer. We have had a lot of rain therefore the grass gets out of control. Thank you!
