Good place to be
After spending a few months in this residence, I would like to salute the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Mr. Mendes is very professional and reacted very quickly when i had issues.

Des lieux pensés pour :
Payer ton loyer.

Very bad experience. I chose this company for the good reviews but the customer experience is very bad. After handing in my file, they wrote back saying i need a visa when i am a swedish citizen. I sent them back and waited for a whole week and they sent the same email requiring a visa after i sent a follow up email. I explained everything again but in french and then they said ok we will hand in your file. Afterwards i saw the rent get higher and higher because there was only one apartment left while they said wait we will handle your file. Never again. Do not reach out to them.
I had a call with Mrs. Salma El Mahjour regarding my brother’s stay in France; she demonstrated great professionalism in her approach and was particularly convincing in her explanations.
I highly recommend her.

Les belles années in Rouen was the perfect residence to live in. I was close to the metro (5min by foot) and to the grocery stores. I also felt safe and welcomed as the residence is filled with students. I recommend choosing Les Belles Années in Rouen!
(Kursus)
I've been staying in the Campus Kursus for six months, and it's been great! I am an international student and this residence felt as if it was actually home. I really love the ambiance, the rooms, the people... I honestly had a wonderful experience here and would definitely repeat if I stayed other years!
I would never recommend. They never reply in the email provided in the website. So I contacted the manager responsible for Clermont Ferrand, which has the worse communication ever. Impolite and unprofessional. Lamentable customer service.
The website doesn't provide the clear requisites for renting the housing, which means that you make a huge effort to make all the application, find a guarantor and so on, to have the application refused by something that could be previously informed. By the way I had to beg for a response about my registration, which could be simply replied in my account application.
Besides that they are one of the few student housing in France that doesn't accept Visale, so they oblige you to pay Garantme.
They don't speak English, despite of dealing with thousands of international students daily. After reading the reviews I noticed my experience is not an exception.
Deplorable in resume
I recently had the misfortune of renting an apartment managed by what can only be described as the worst landlord I've ever encountered. From the very beginning, it was clear that this individual had absolutely no regard for the well-being or satisfaction of their tenants. Trying to communicate with this landlord was an exercise in frustration. Phone calls and emails went unanswered, and when they did respond, it was with a dismissive tone. There was a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the people who were paying their hard-earned money to live in their property.
Despite leaving the rented property in impeccable condition, I only received half of my deposit back. The landlord unlawfully withheld a significant portion of my deposit without providing any legitimate reasons and addressing me expenses I never asked for. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from this landlord to run in the opposite direction.
My experience, so far, has been amazing. I am at Kursus, LBA, Limoges. Our housing manager, Lea, so welcoming, such a nice environment to stay in.
I had been in contact with the manager of the belles annees in rouen for 3 weeks, after much effort I was able to send all the documents he had requested. The day after I sent everything stops replying to emails. Then I contact other managers who tell me that no more rooms are available.

Studied in France as part of my year abroad - Les Belles Annees seemed a good accommodation choice because they presented their apartments very nicely on the website. However, they were quite grim in person. Customer service was great when they wanted me to sign a contract and pay my deposits etc, but when it came to closing my contract and dealing with a horrible ant infestation that was impossible to control the response was much slower.
Did not get my full deposit back because I did not dry clean the curtains, but this seemed like an overcharge, especially because I left the apartment 100 times cleaner than it was when I moved in. In my opinion, not worth the price.

Another problems with Les Belles Annees they receive a form from La CAF (Caisse d'Allocations Fmiliale) to fill it up. it was send to them on November 27, 2021 it took them 3 months 1/2 La CAF got it in April 2022 to fill up 3 lines and I had to send them an email every second day in order for them to send it to me. Really the administration in France is very very bad. Do not go to this residence.
Wow "Les belles annees" they should call it "Les mauvaises annees"
1. No customer service whatsoever.
2. No one to help you when you have a problem like brocken lock, problem with your sink, electrical problem, etc... you have to pay everything by yourself or fix it yourself, basically when you are at this residence you need to BE an electrican, plumber, carpenter etc.. BUT OF COURSE YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOUR JUST 18 YEARS OLD and on top of that you need to study at university and find a job in order to pay for your rent, activities etc..
3. No one at the reception to help you or she is in her office but does nothing at all not interested to help the French people really have their reputation around the world no wonder tourist complain about French.
4. This company wants just the money from the students and do not want to deal with any of the problem that they have in their property the most important for them is to cash the rent and that is it.
5. Please please avoid this residence ASAP.
6. If you are renting it there please ask a lot of question like who is doing the repair when something is broken because if it will be YOU then please run to another residence more friendly.
7. False advsertising in their website too, very nice website but when you are in the residence another story totally different they clearly don't care about the student at all.
I just saw the previous review. I think I should also put this for others to alert. I browsed their website couple of days ago and found that the pricing of the furnished room and apt were quite attractive and tried to apply. After I completed this process and waiting for their review and reply, I noticed that they changed the pricing of the place I wanted to reserve with an increase of over 100euros per month. I still haven't heard from them but I think I should back out given others' review and the price change. I think buyer should alert.
