We owned an LS600 in the past, and assumed this one just had slightly more powerful jets. We were disappointed to find that this one does NOT have the "night mode" so it runs throughout the night (less economical and louder) plus the jets run oddly. One side doesn't even have a "low" option. Wish we could trade it back in for our old 600 (that we left in another state).

I do apologize that the differences in the spa have been problematic. Both spas run the filter cycle 12 hours apart, and the first starts when the spa is powered up. Therefore, you can reset the filter cycles times by turning off power to the spa to reset the filter cycle times!

The LS700DX has a second pump to run the additional jets and circulation, so it is a bit different; however, with the low/high/pump/pump 2/diverter options, it allows you to configure your experience much more!

I do understand missing something that you have become familair and accustomed to, however.

This is our first spa so we had no clue what to do as far as set up and all of that. This spa was delivered very promptly considering it traveled halfway across the country and was exactly what is was supposed to be. Good quality, super easy set up, and great massaging from the jets. Really glad we went with the dual pump, 90 jet tub. There is a spot that fits everyone. We have been in it almost daily, including a new Sunday morning coffee in the tub ritual. Would definitely recommend this spa.

Very easy to set up, we started at about 10:00 AM moving it to the site we prepared and that evening we were using the tub. Great price for a great hot tub, we love it. The only issues were, I had to enlarge the hole for the wire conduit and the entire side panel has to come off to access the electrical.

Good note on the electrical...I believe it is setup for a 3/4" conduit, so if you use a common 1" conduit, then you will need to make some adjustments!

I have now purchased 2 of these LS700DX spas. Both have been good quality and work great. The only issue I had was as they warned to check all the threaded connections prior to filling the spa with water. On the second spa I did not check and sure enough I had a massive leak which required me to drain the spa and tighten one of the main connections. I do worry in the future about the connections to all the jests as they are not accessible from the spa sides. There is only 1 side that provides access to the pumps and control panel. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

That is a great note on the PVC unions needing tightening after transit. You should not have to drain the spa, and should be able to simply tighten the unions (but it sounds like you got it worked out).
