Lovely, clean, modern lodge. We enjoyed having a private garden with the hot tub and sauna. Situated in a pretty village. Rob was ready to meet us on our arrival to show us around the lodge. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
The lodge is absolutely charming, the location is wonderful, the neighbourhood is lovely and oh so friendly. It was everything we hoped it be and more. Rob and Sam were both responsive, friendly and very welcoming. Walking through the door it was like welcoming hug.

Absolutely perfect retreat, the Lodge was incredible so comfortable, clean, welcoming and well stocked, Rob & Sam had thought of everything, it was a perfect stay surrounded by beautiful villages and less than an hours drive to the Jurassic coast. I can highly recommend this accommodation, one of the best I have ever vacated in. Thank you.
The Lodge at Leigh is a perfect retreat. Set in a peaceful and private location, everything has been thought of to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The attention to detail is exceptional. From the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms to the generous welcome pack of local ingredients, you really are set to enjoy your holiday from the very start. So much to explore in the area and then to return to the luxury of a hot tub and sauna made for a very special break. The dark skies were a treat. All the fittings and furnishing are high quality. We had our dog with us and even he was catered for with blankets, treats and bowls. Our dog is an escapologist but the garden was even secure for him! Rob was a helpful host, leaving you in peace but on hand if you needed anything. You can tell how much love and effort has gone into the Lodge. We couldn’t fault it and would love to return.

Superb accommodation.
A property to unwind in. Sam and Rob have pretty much thought of everything required for a home from home vacation. A really handy pack of supplies were awaiting our arrival which was much appreciated. We were met on arrival and shown around the property and given instruction to use various appliances, including Hot Tub and Sauna. If you holiday with a dog like we do, the enclosed garden space is nice to have, plus around 100 mtrs. from the property is the village hall that has a large green area where dogs can be exercised. The owners were generous enough to supply address details so we could organise for a shopping deliver. Although there are no immediate take away facilities, they are available from Sherborne and Yeovil. With the use a insulated bag, food can be kept hot over the 15 minute journey.
This is by far the nicest holiday cottage we have stayed in. Absolutely beautiful inside and out, and in a lovely quiet location. Rob was very helpful, even provided fresh flowers during our stay. Would love to go back, or better still retire there.
Rob and Sam are amazing hosts. The lodge was exactly what we wanted and was a great break. We were welcomed warmly and even had basics such as local bakers bread, milk and eggs ready for our arrival. We were concerned about the lack of reviews when booking however don’t let that stop you, it’s just because it’s new! Thanks again for a great stay!
The Lodge at Leigh exceeded our expectations of luxury, comfort and quality. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The Lodge was fitted out with everything that was needed for a perfect , restful stay. Rob and Sam were so welcoming . Could not have picked a more beautiful place to stay for us and our little fur baby. Could highly recommend this property .
